It is that time of the year again! After a successful Lunar New Year Event, FIFA Mobile is back this week with the much-awaited Carniball event. As the Carnival was held in Rio earlier this month, in honor of this tradition EA joins the party with FIFA Mobile 21 Carniball. Get ready to have an eventful month of grinding skill games and matches and celebrate this colorful event in style with your favorite footballers.
FIFA Mobile 21 Carniball Event Description
- Event Duration: Feb 24th – March 11th (15 days)
- Ads: 3 ads daily giving 5 Carniball Energy per ad
- Coin Pack: 8 Coin Packs weekly giving 10 Carniball Energy for 15,000 coins
- Energy: Carniball Energy refreshes 1 per hour with a max of 18 Carniball energy
- Daily login: 6 Blank Masks
FIFA Mobile 21 Carniball Event Flow
Main
In the Main Tab, you will be using your Carniball Energy to play the 5 daily Star Games to earn Blank Masks. Star Games will give 1, 2, or 3 Stars based on how well you perform in them. You need 3 Stars on all 5 Star Games to hit your additional Daily Milestone for bonus Masks. It’s all Skill Games.
Remember that, failing a Star Game does not return your Carniball Energy. After completing a specific Star Game, all further wins on that day will only include a base currency reward and the Masks are only given out on the first win. There are also 8 weekly coin packs that give 10 Carniball Energy for 15,000 coins each and 3 daily ads giving 5 Carniball Energy each.
Regions
These are the Region Specific path-wise rewards. Here you will be using your hard-earned Blank Masks along the Region Paths for Carniball Players and various rewards. The players get better the further you go. The regions open at different times and run until the end of the event. Masks can be used in any of the regions. There are event-specific resources as well.
Regional Chapter Dates
- France opens at launch, February 24
- Brazil opens on February 26
- Spain opens on March 1
- Rest of the World opens on March 3
- Germany opens on March 5
- Italy opens on March 8
There are three additional milestones, ranging from 96 OVR players to 94 OVR Event Icon LM Barnes, both being F2P claimable, obviously either or at the same time but let’s forget Prime Icon 101 OVR CDM Petit. He is way beyond any reach.
Parade
Decorate your Parade lineup with Carniball Players and Trinkets as you battle for Parade Points and Leaderboard position
- Ads: 4 ads daily giving 5 Parade Tickets per ad.
- Coin Packs: 4 Coin Packs weekly that give 10 Parade Tickets for 5,000 coins.
Use Parade Tickets to play VSA or H2H, and earn Parade Points and Party Score. Parade Points come from Wins/Draws/Losses in VSA and H2H, while Party Score is earned from activating Carniball Player Bonuses and Trinkets. Remember that H2H takes twice as many tickets and twice rewards. VSA gives out 20 for a win and 5 Party Scores for a loss. H2H on the other hand gives out 40 Party Scores for a win and 10 for a loss
Use your Parade Points towards Rewards along the Parade Path. Party Score counts towards your spot on the Leaderboards. Use Carniball Players in your Active Lineup and activate Trinkets to earn an extra Party Score when you play Parade VSA or H2H. Use your Carniball Trinkets wisely to get more rewards. The Parade Leaderboard is a Pay 2 Win driven aspect of the event, don’t ever fall for it, it is not necessary. Just stay on the leaderboard, don’t target anything more.
SBC
SBC in exchange for Rank Shards is back again from the Team of the Year. There is a single weekly Squad Building Challenge in the main tab which exchanges for Rank Shards, which you will use for ranking up.
You should be completing the SBCs but the longer you wait, the cheaper the players will become. It’s not that tough, each requires only 5 players, with the total team OVR being 80+ OVR, while only one of them being Carniball players. Carniball won’t be releasing a lot of players in the market, so the longer you wait in the week, the cheaper the players become but you will always have to overpay for someone during the event.

Blank Masks
- Earn them from playing Star Games.
- Use them towards Carniball Players in the Region Paths.
Parade Tickets
- Earn them from Coin Packs and Ad Packs.
- Use them to play Parade VSA or H2H.
Parade Points
- Earn them from playing Parade VSA or H2H.
- Use them towards rewards along the Parade Path.
Parade Trinkets (Motley Hat, Drums, and Samba Feathers)
- Earn them from the Confetti Pack and the Regional Paths.
- Use them for Party Score.
Party Score
- Earn them from activating Parade Trinkets.
- Used to rank players on the Parade Leaderboards.
Confetti
- Earn them from logging in daily.
- Use them on the Confetti Pack for Masks, Parade Points, and Parade Trinkets.

FIFA Mobile 21 Carniball Event Tips and Tricks
After an amazing, Lunar New Year, Carniball is a decent event in FIFA Mobile 21. It has a little amount of grind, with daily skill games to play and with flashy flamboyant cards. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event. It took us a while to get these answers and calculate everything so let’s explain it here.
First and foremost as usual this is an event energy-based event. So never ever let your energy get filled out. Don’t let your energy refresh out. Never! The coin packs and ads are not really worth it if you can complete your star skill games in one turn. If you 3 star all the skill games during the course of the day, then the coin packs are never necessary. Save your coin packs and use them if you ever get stuck in a path and fail to finish it or you can horde your ads and watch them before reset so that you have a stack of energy.
Remember you can play the skill games over and over again but you only get the masks the first time irrespective of how many stars you land up within the process. If you fail to complete the daily milestone, you get 5625 masks, so somewhere between 5625 and 7125 masks, you will land up with. But you will still have plenty of energy to fall back into. Don’t use your coin packs until then.

From the table above we can clearly see you can grab either of the 98 rated players if you complete the milestones every day. Besides, without completing the daily milestone, you can easily get the 95s. Additionally, the confetti packs from the store can also provide extra Blank Masks. You can also achieve two Samba Feathers and thus either of the 96 is possible. Let’s not discuss the icon, Prime Petit costs around 215,000 gems.
Event Icon Barnes is also achievable, you can claim him if you go for.
- 6 88 OVRs.
- 2 89 OVRs or 1 89 OVR and 1 90 OVR Player
So, the things that are possible either of 98 or 95 OVRs depending on your milestone completion, the 96 OVR Milestone player or Event Icon 94 OVR Barnes

Play VSA, no need to stress on H2H matches. With the worst-case scenario, no bonus and you lose everything, you still land up with 105 Parade Scores either with VSA or H2H. You can land up to the 93 LM Ocampos even if you lose all the matches, just staying in the leaderboard will grand you that chance of claiming him and all the awards up to it.
You need to get to the top two or three in the leaderboard to get something worthwhile more than Ocampos from this. Additionally, for that, you need a full team of Carniball players as well. This is a whale-driven aspect of the event. Do not attempt to aim high enough in these rewards to claim any of these bonuses. Just try to get on the leaderboard and you are guaranteed 100 Parade Points. That is more than sufficient.
FIFA Mobile 21 Carniball Event Players
That’s it the Carniball Event in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this event. All the calculations are at your doorstep there, do with it what you will and plan carefully. Carniball is not at all about resources, the resources available are terrible and low. It is a player-specific event, go for a 98 rated master or the maximum masters you can grab for coins. On the whole, it’s not that bad, but not too good and is disappointing. It’s just a decent event with lots of skill games and lots of skill games.

All the 98s are extremely overpowered given their stats, Martial and Dybala are very good choices, but if you want to sell your player for coins in the market then 98 Donnarumma is your best bet, as for Varane he will probably come in the store chain packs next week.

Yes you can sure, grab all the 88 rated players from all the chapters, then either two 89s or one 89 and one 90, and there you have it Barnes without any gems.

Sanchez and Martial both won’t be possible and it won’t be with only using few gems, as a combined total of them cost more than 12k Masks and you can get only about 7125 masks free to play. Make your call and buy the 96 rated from the market perhaps?

Yes milestones 1 and 2 are mutually exclusive and they don’t depend each other mate, you can surely claim your 96 without depending on 94 Barnes.

Go for the samba feather at the end of the line of two paths, claim them and you should be able to get a 96 rated player easily. The chances are that your gem balance might not be enough for you.
