After the end of a short-lived National Heroes Event, EA brings us a surprise! Following the footsteps of the console counterpart, FIFA Mobile 21 after a long long time has brought back the Flashbacks event! Celebrating some of the club legends who have spent their entire careers with a single team or have recently returned to an old club, EA has given us players a chance to enjoy the old heroes for a limited time in the game. Play match scenarios with special lineup requirements to unlock Flashbacks Players including a 100 OVR Event Icon CAM Diego Maradona!

FIFA Mobile 21 Flashbacks Event Description

• Event Duration: July 15th – August 5th (21 Days)
• Ads: 1 ad daily giving 5 Flashbacks Energy per ad
• Coin Packs: 7 Coin Packs weekly giving 5 Flashbacks Energy each for 55,000 coins
• Energy: Flashbacks Energy refreshes 1 per hour with a max of 18 Flashbacks Energy
• Daily Claim: 3 Gallery Points

FIFA Mobile 21 Flashbacks Event Flow

Main

From the Main Tab, you can play different Flashbacks Scenarios you will be using your Flashbacks Energy to play a series of Matches for Flashbacks Points. Play different Match scenarios as you work towards unlocking each featured Flashbacks Player! There are 7 total chapters, each with different lineup requirements.

The Flashbacks Player Chapters unlock according to these dates (19:00 UTC time):

• 96 OVR LM Ashley Young – July 15
• 96 OVR RM Joaquín – July 15
• 98 OVR ST Fabio Quagliarella – July 20
• 100 OVR CB Pepe – July 22
• 102 OVR CM Ivan Rakitić – July 27
• 103 OVR GK Gianluigi Buffon – July 29
• 100 OVR Event Icon CAM Diego Maradona – July 29

All the matches are replayable for Flashbacks Points, but Gallery Points only come with the First Win Reward. There are also 7 weekly coin packs that give 5 Flashbacks Energy for 55,000 coins each and 1 daily ad giving 5 Flashbacks Energy. Also, remember you can only unlock the players, after completing their respective Flashbacks chapters ie winning all their 8 matches. All the 8 matches must be won with the respective given squad conditions.

Gallery Game

Use your earned Gallery Points here to develop the instant film and find 3 of the featured rewards of the day! Every day will have a different Flashbacks Player and rewards, including bonus Flashbacks Points. Earn Milestone rewards for spending certain amounts of Gallery Points. You will move up the milestone path depending on the Gallery Points you spend.

This is something in events for over and over. Horde your Gallery Points and save them for days when Flashback Points pop up or decent rewards. Don’t waste them and open only when you have enough of them to spend on. Pay attention to the Flashback Points mainly!

Reward Path

Exchange your hard-earned Flashbacks Points along the Reward Path for Flashback rewards. This is a similar path of rewards that you have seen in almost each and every event till date.

You can either exchange your Flashback Points for these players on the Reward Path or use them on the Flashback chapters for those specific player milestones. There is a whale specific milestone for spending 33,000 Flashbacks Points in exchange for a 106 OVR Prime Icon RM Garrincha.

FIFA Mobile 21 Flashbacks Event Tips and Tricks

After the National Heroes event, FIFA Mobile 21 Flashbacks event is pretty short. It has a little amount of grind, with daily PVE matches and event currencies. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event. It took us a while to get these answers and calculate everything so let’s explain it here.

First and foremost as usual this is an event energy-based event. So never ever let your energy get filled out. Don’t let your energy refresh out. And just buy your coin packs, there is no reason for not buying, and additionally buying them out will only give your more Flashbacks Points to spend on Flashbacks players. So do yourself a favour and just buy them out.

From the table above we can clearly see you can grab everything other than the 104s and of course the 106 Prime Icon Garrincha. Remember every time you play a match, you get 175 Flashbacks Points. You will need to replay the match to get more and more Flashbacks Points. The only time you will miss is the Gallery Points. There are 56 matches available, and one needs to play a total of 146 times to obtain the maximum rewards, thus leading to replaying the matches at least 90 times!

There you can either get either of the two 12 ranked 103 players or a 102 12 ranked Rakitic, 103 13 ranked Buffon and the Event Icon 100 10 ranked Maradona! Remember for the 2nd choice, you will fall shy of a minimum of 550 extra points that you need to make up either from the Gallery Points or from the Store Gem Packs.

Thus being free-to-play one can easily get, 103 RM Milner OR 103 LB Monreal OR (102 CM Rakitic + 103 GK Buffon +100 CAM Maradona)

Additionally, you will be opening the Gallery at least 210 times from the daily logins and playing the matches, thereby making your way to the 500k coins milestone. You can get more tries depending on whether you can get Gallery Points from the Gallery itself or Gem packs.

That’s it the Flashbacks Event in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this event. All the calculations are at your doorstep there, do with it what you will and plan carefully. There are positives with this event, with a bump in the market with specific players, with not a lot of players are getting dumped into the market and no SBCs for once (ouch).
