The event that we thought was going to be the first regional event in the month of Ramadan, ended up being a global event for all. Store Offers
Lantern Festival is a Store event, where you use the April Daily Points from the April Daily Free Offer to progress through the event. The Offer refreshes every 21 hours and can be claimed up to 30 times throughout the event. Yes, it’s in the store in all of its glory!
So starting March 31st and running through May 5th you can log in and grab a free Daily Pack that contains an April Daily Point and a base item which could be in-game resources Coins, Skill boost, Silver players, or Lantern Point. You’ll be able to do this up to 30 times, over the course of the 35 days. Therefore, from the April Daily Free Offer you’ll receive a guaranteed April Daily Point.
You will use these April Daily Points for a total of 8 Lantern Festival Offers. They’re all numbered like Lantern Special 1, 2, 3 they run all the way through, They unlock in order so it’s kind of like a Chain Pack and each requires a specified number of April Daily Points. Check out the table below for the rewards and the requirements:

Now the way this is set up, all the rewards are free-to-play on that particular schedule because it’s just a free chain pack offer. Now if you want to go ahead and claim ahead of schedule or make up for days missed, there are Gem packs available. But try to avoid spending Gems unnecessary.
Lantern Offers
Starting on April 7th, the Lantern Offer opens up now this is where you’ll trade in the Lantern Points your claim on the exact same day this unlocks in the daily milestone reward. Now you could be lucky enough to earn more Lantern Points as part of your Daily Free Offer because those are popping up in there.
A guaranteed Lantern Point can be claimed from the Milestones and they are available as a Possible Reward in the April Daily Free Offer. These offers can give out Lantern Festival Players, more Lantern offers, and other in-game resources. Use these Lantern Points on the Lantern Offer to claim Lantern Festival Players. There is a chance to get another Lantern Point and a new Emote from this Offer too!
Exchange
The Lantern Festival event is found in just two places ie the Store and the Exchanges that’s it. There are three different Exchanges. Trade in the Lantern Festival Players and other Players in the Exchange for more amazing Players, including a 93 OVR LM Sadio Mané Premium version!
The Exchanges vary from trading 75-85 OVR Players for 88 OVR Lantern Festival Players. Three Lantern Festival players, 20 Elites, and a 90 rated master can be exchanged for a 92 OVR ST Cédric Bakambu. Check their prices in the market, before investing in them, just to make sure that you don’t incur any huge loss for claiming the players.
The final exchange involves the 93 OVR LM Sadio Mané which requires a massive 20 elites, a master, four Lantern Festival Players, and also the 90 OVR LM Sadio Mané, which you obtained for free from the store offers on day 30. Now if you use the gems, you can grab him early, but you will be wasting the gems unless he is worth huge in the market with people buying him.

Being one of the first events of FIFA Mobile 22, Lantern Festival is a very very basic and fodder event. It is not even a proper event, it’s a five-week-long daily store offer. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event.
Now tips for the event. Remember to claim your daily offers. That’s it. The one and only tip for the event. Use the April Daily Point for Lantern offers from time to time to claim the Lantern the Festival players and in turn, you can exchange them in the exchanges.
Exchange
As stated earlier before doing any of the exchanges check the values of the players you are going for in the market. If there are no buy orders, then your investment can be a waste. Now coming to the big daddy Spotlight Player 93 OVR LM Sadio Mané.
Don’t think of using your Gems to grab the 90 rated version of Mané early because he becomes practically free-to-play on Day 30, and there wouldn’t be many buy orders of the 93 version prior either. It is a viable option only if you see buy orders on him prior to that day. Coming to the exchange, you need
- 90 OVR Lantern Festival LM Sadio Mané
- 4 Any Lantern Festival Players
- 90+ OVR Any Player
- 20 80+ OVR Players
Now the four Festival Players, you can trade in the same players more than once as these are exchanges and not SBCs. You will get one guaranteed in 88 OVR GK Uğurcan Çakır from the daily offers and will be three short. You should be able to grab the other three from additional Lantern Point offers, the Lantern player exchanges, or just from the market. Do not forget you will still need the bunch of elites and masters and things can get slightly tricky if your inventory is empty.
If 90 OVR Sadio Mané is free just playing through the event for a month and you can expect to have about 3-3.5 million coins in the masters and elites. That means this 93 OVR Sadio Mané is a relatively cheap upgrade. It’s entirely up to you and he’s free to play and a player that everyone’s going to probably end up with.
