Hot Spots are the newest addition to the game which has been introduced in Chapter 4 Season 1. Previously they were also seen in Season 9 of the game. These are special locations on the map where players will be able to find better loot than normal.
However, the consequence of getting the opportunity of picking up better loot comes with the cost of engaging in battle with other players who’ve gone to the locations with the same purpose as them. This increases the chance of getting eliminated a lot more than normal. And it depends on the player whether they think it is worth the effort or it.
Where to find Hot Spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1
There’s no specific place where a Hot Spot is guaranteed to spawn at. Rather players will be able to locate it on the map by looking at the name which would be written in gold. The name which will be golden changes in every match so there’s no way for the players to know beforehand.
They also won’t be able to look at the Hot Spots unless they have explored the specific area. This is because it will be greyed out on the map otherwise. Around these Hot Spots, players will be able to detect loot drones in the sky.
Players can shoot down these drones for high-rarity weapons and gears. Players need to be careful as most experienced players choose to come to this location and the chances of getting eliminated are very high.
