Fight against three bosses across 6 difficulty stages and conquer those stages for rewards, including Primogems, Dust of Enlightenment, Mora, Hero’s wit, and also grind Artifacts. In this guide, we will explain how you can defeat those bosses and earn those sweet rewards.
Genshin Impact 6.2 Stygian Onslaught Guide: Boss Mechanism
To defeat every boss, you have to learn their mechanism; otherwise, you can’t defeat any bosses, even with perfect artifacts and their best weapons.
1. Iniquitous Baptist Boss Mechanism
Iniquitous Baptist is a boss from the Sumeru Desert region. At first, this boss will make 3x different pillar elements, and you have to destroy them within a certain period, but if you can’t destroy those pillars within the given time, then this boss will generate a shield based on pillar elements.
Normally, this boss generates Cryo, Hydro, Electro, and Pyro shields, but in Stygian Onslaught, the boss will only generate the Hydro, Electro, and Pyro shields. For destroying the Hydro shield, use Cryo or Dendro elements. Use Cryo or Dendro elements for the Electro shield. Use the Hydro element for the Pyro shields. After the boss loses all shields, you can do serious damage with your DPS.
2. Battle Hardened Iktomisaurus Boss Mechanism
Battle-hardened Iktomisaurus is a local legend from the Natlan region. Compared to the Iniquitous Baptist Boss, this boss mechanism is easy to understand. Melee characters are not good against this boss because this boss will generate a Cryo shield while levitating in the air, and you have to destroy that shield with long-range Pyro attacks within the given time.
If you break that shield within the given time, then the boss will fall to the ground, and the boss will lose a huge amount of HP because of fall damage, and the boss will be stunned for a few seconds. But if you are unable to break that shield on time, then the boss will deal a massive AOE damage, and your on-field character will die instantly.
3. Experimental Field Generator Boss Mechanism
Experimental Field Generator is a boss from the Fontaine region. This boss reduces gravity in its surroundings, and because of the low gravity. All of your characters can now plunge by clicking the jump button, and after reaching a certain height, characters will gain a 600% attack buff for 1.5 seconds.
This boss launches multiple projectiles, which can kill your characters instantly. You can dodge those projectiles by jumping or running. The Experimental Field Generator boss can release ground waves that throw your character backwards and deal damage, but you can dodge them by jumping.

1. Nefer Premium Team
We all know the Nefer Premium team deals serious damage, and we will follow the same rotation against the bosses. Use Nefer and Lauma for destroying the Hydro and Electro shields of the boss, and Yelan or Aino Hydro application for destroying Pyro shields and Pillars.
2. Skirk Premium Team
Skirk‘s premium team is overpowered against this boss. Use the Cryo attack to break the Electro shield and the Hydro attack to break the Pyro shield. After that, just follow the team rotation.

1. Pyro Swirl Team
This team is best against this boss. At first, use your Durin Burst, and when the boss starts levitating in the air, use Venti Burst, which will convert into Pyro swirl, and you can easily break the Cryo shield with that. Now, just follow your team rotation.
2. Chasca Team
Use Durin Burst or Mauvika skill, then use your Chasca and fly towards the boss, then Mauvika skill will break its Cryo shield. Now, follow your chasca rotation.
3. Jean Fall Damage Team
This team’s core members are Jean and Amber. Use Jean Burst when the boss starts levitating and when the boss creates its Cryo shield, use Amber Burst, which will break its shield, then use Bennett Burst. Now the boss will be stunned for a few seconds and use Jean’s hold skill for constant fall damage until the Boss’s stunned state ends.
Follow this same rotation when the boss creates its shield.
