Chords of the Forest is a web event in Genshin Impact version 3.6 Phase 1. This event is in commemoration of the release of the second Sumeru OST collection The Unfathomable Sand Dunes. It is a very easy event that gives a unique redeem code for players to obtain Primogems.
The web event will be available from April 20, 2023 till April 27, 2023. Players can participate and claim the in-game rewards.
How to unlock Melodies in Genshin Impact Chords of the Forest Web Event
- Go to the event page.
- Click on the Vintage Lyre. Click continue. Click the Vintage Lyre again.
- Play the notes as they appear on the screen. They will not always appear aligned with the notes on the part where you have to click, so you need to pay attention. Do not worry, there is no pressure to play it properly. You do not have to play a coherent melody, all you need to do is to play the notes in the order they appear. Take your time and see where the notes are on the screen and click on the corresponding notes.
- When you finish your first melody, click Keep Exploring. This will take you to another melody. You have to unlock this one too.
- Repeat the same process four more times to unlock a total of five melodies. Congratulations, you have completed the event.
- In the final screen, click share to obtain primogems. This will bring up a menu of Facebook/Twitter/Reddit as well as an option to share the link and send it to whomever you like.
- If you do not want to share this event on Facebook/Twitter/Reddit, you could just choose the option to copy the link and it would still count as sharing and you will receive your reward.

Once you share the event, a unique redeem code will be generated. You can obtain one redeem code per HoYoverse account and you can redeem it on any one of your Genshin Impact profiles under the same HoYoverse account. If you have multiple profiles, you cannot redeem them on all of them.
