Soheil’s Wish is the world quest in the series of Old Notes and New Friends, added in version 3.1 of Genshin Impact in the newly released Hypostyle Desert for players to explore. This is the final quest in the series of Old Notes and New Friends and is completely a dialog-based quest.
How to unlock and start Soheil’s Wish World Quest in Genshin Impact
- Completion of Duel Evidence world quest.
- Completion of Invisible Barrier world quest.
- Completion of Desert’s Remembrance world quest.
- Completion of Hidden mercenaries world quest.
Invisible Barrier World Quest
In this quest players need to search different ruins for some “Ruins Record”. Keep in mind that players can only do this quest once they have finished the Duel Evidence world quest. Players must complete the trials of all four Transparent Ruins 1, 2, 3, and 4 and get all 4 stone slates (Record of Ruins) to complete this world quest. After getting all the stone slates to report back to Soheil a cutscene will appear and players will get 40x primogems and other materials as rewards.
Desert Remembrance World Quest
In this quest players need to search the Dune of Carouses in the Desert and find the “Records of the Tomb of Carouses”. However, this quest requires players to solve various puzzles using light prisms and Rotating cells.
After solving all the puzzles and making it to the top floor of the tomb players will find an exquisite chest. “The records of the tomb of carouses” can be found in it. Getting the stone slate report back to Soheil to complete the quest. Players will get 40x primogems and other materials as rewards.
Hidden Mercenaries World Quest
In this quest, players need to search for a secret base that is captured by the Eremites. The Secret base is located near the Vally of Dahri. To enter the secret base players first need to get a password which can be obtained from clearwater desert erimite, after entering Thutmose’s secret base follow the navigation bar and look for valuable items.
After getting deeper into the base players will find a common chest, upon opening players will find “Record of the Lamb Devouring Rock”, and take the stone slate to Soheil to complete the quest. Players will get 40x primogems and other materials as rewards.
After completing all the quests mentioned above, go and talk to Soheil to complete “Sohail’s Wish”.

- Primogems x 20
- Adventurer’s EXP x 100
- Mora x 10,000
