Windblume Breath is an event based on the Windblume Festival in Mondstadt and is the biggest event in the version 3.5 update of Genshin Impact. Take part in the Ballads and Breeze game mode to get rewards like primogems, mora, Exp books, and the event exclusive weapon “Mailed Flower” claymore. The mode will be live from 3rd March to 20th March 2023.
How to unlock and complete the Ballad and Breeze mode in Genshin Impact
Here are the requirements to unlock the mode:
- Adventure rank 18 or above
- Completion of Archon quest “Song of the dragon and Freedom“
- Completion of Archon quest Chapter III: Act V “akasha Pulses and the Kalpa Flames Rises” and Albedo’s Story Quest “Princeps Cretaceus Chapter : Act I” first to get the best experience from this event. If you have not completed the above-mentioned quests, you can enter the event through “Quick Start” on the event page.
Travelers will be able to choose from three different instruments and play through the song challenges. During the performance, different notes will appear on the screen. When a note falls on the Decision Line, strike the Decision Line to score points. The number of points scored will vary depending on the timing of your stroke. A long note is represented by a long strip of light. Hold the button to play the note, then release it after the light strip disappears to score points.
Genshin Impact Ballads of Breeze gameplay Tips
- Sharing Beatmaps: Travelers can go to “Songs Exchange” to share their own song arrangements or obtain share codes of excellent works from fellow Travelers.
- Performance Tracks: Some new settings have been added to the “Ballads of Breeze” gameplay this time. Not only can you choose which musical instrument to perform with, but you can also adjust the Custom Key Bindings, Falling Mode, etc. according to your own preferences.
- Custom Key Bindings: Travelers can adjust the Custom Key Bindings of the PC or controller in Settings > Key Bindings.
- Notes Falling Mode: Travelers can adjust the notes’ Falling Mode, and enable or disable the Note Guide and Continuous Playing Effects.
