Fleeting Colors in Flight received its official launch on the 25th of January, 2022 alongside reruns of both Zhongli and Ganyu‘s banners, and will continue till the 12th of February, 2022. As a participant in the event, players have the opportunity to win all kinds of prizes, including primogems and a free four-star Liyue character. There are multiple parts to the Wondrous Shadows, and solving multiple lantern riddles is an important part of the game. With all the players ready to play Genshin Impact Wondrous Shadows Event, here is all the information players need about the lantern puzzle.
Fleeting Colors in Flight Event: How to unlock
As a prerequisite for participating in this Liyue event, players need to be at least Adventure Rank 28 and must have finished the most recent Acts 1 and 3 of A New Star Approaches Archon quests. Along with it, Act 1 of The Crane Returns on the Wind also must be completed. Upon meeting all the requirements, players will be able to start immediately.
Genshin Impact Wondrous Shadows: Lantern Riddles
In the Wondrous Shadows mini-game, players are presented with lanterns of various shapes that must be rotated, so that their shadow casts a silhouette of a certain object. The lantern can be rotated in any direction, but while the concept may sound simple, it can be difficult to figure out how to solve it. In total, there are 3 parts with 3 riddles each. We will help you go through each and every riddle with a detailed explanation.
Lantern Riddle: Basic Rules
The Wondrous Shadows Challenge asks players to adjust the Shadow Lantern parts, so their combination of light and shadows completes the image and thus solves the corresponding riddle. A player’s riddle-solving progress will rise, as the shadow’s form reaches the final answer. Once a riddle reaches 100% completion, it is solved.
To drag a lantern segment, the player needs to hold and drag it. A player can only rotate the lantern clockwise or anticlockwise when its shadows are locked.
Part I
The Part of the Wondrous Shadows Challenge consists of three puzzles. They are:
Lantern Puzzle 1
The event can be started by clicking the Wondrous Shadows icon on the event page. Players must click to solve the riddle, and players will be directed to Liyue Harbor. If players interact with the lantern, players will see the riddles they can solve. By interacting with the lantern, the player needs to click on Lantern Puzzle 1.
In Lantern Puzzle 1, the hint is “Censer Silhouette“. As illustrated in the image above, the wooden object must look like a “Censer Silhouette”. After the shadows are locked, the first riddle will be solved. The players will receive 30 primogems, 200 Affluence Talisman, and 30000 Mora.
Lantern Puzzle 2
Players must click on the Wondrous Shadows icon on the event page to begin the event. To solve the riddle, click the go button. This will lead the player to Liyue Harbor. By interacting with the lantern, the player needs to click on Lantern Puzzle 2.
“Ship Silhouette” is the hint for Lantern Puzzle 2. As illustrated in the image above, the wooden object must look like a “Ship Silhouette”. After the shadows are locked, the second riddle will be solved. The players will receive 30 primogems, 200 Affluence Talisman, and 30000 Mora.
Lantern Puzzle 3
The event can be started by clicking the Wondrous Shadows icon on the event page. Players must click to go to solve the riddle, and players will be directed to Liyue Harbor. If players interact with the lantern, players will see the riddles they can solve. By interacting with the lantern, the player needs to click on Lantern Puzzle 3.
In Lantern Puzzle 3, the hint is “Kite Silhouette“. As illustrated in the image above, the wooden object must look like a “Kite Silhouette”. After the shadows are locked, the third riddle will be solved. The players will receive 30 primogems, 200 Affluence Talisman, and 30000 Mora.
Part II
The Part II of the Wondrous Shadows Challenge consists of three puzzles. They are:
Lantern Puzzle 4
Players must click on the Wondrous Shadows icon on the event page to begin the event. To solve the riddle, click on the go button. This will lead the player to Liyue Harbor. By interacting with the lantern, the player needs to click on Lantern Puzzle 4.
“Mountain Silhouette” is the hint for Lantern Puzzle 4. As illustrated in the image above, the wooden object must look like a “Mountain Silhouette”. After the shadows are locked, the fourth riddle will be solved. The players will receive 30 primogems, 200 Affluence Talisman, and 30000 Mora.
Lantern Puzzle 5
The event can be started by clicking the Wondrous Shadows icon on the event page. Players must click go to solve the riddle, and players will be directed to Liyue Harbor. If players interact with the lantern, players will see the riddles they can solve. By interacting with the lantern, the player needs to click on Lantern Puzzle 5.
In Lantern Puzzle 5, the hint is “Scales Silhouette“. As illustrated in the image above, the wooden object must look like a “Scales Silhouette”. After the shadows are locked, the fifth riddle will be solved. The players will receive 30 primogems, 200 Affluence Talisman, and 30000 Mora.
Lantern Puzzle 6
Players must click on the Wondrous Shadows icon on the event page to begin the event. To solve the riddle, they must click on the go button. This will lead the player to Liyue Harbor. By interacting with the lantern, the player needs to click on Lantern Puzzle 6.
“Mora Silhouette” is the hint for Lantern Puzzle 6. As illustrated in the image above, the wooden object must look like a “Mora Silhouette”. After the shadows are locked, the 6th riddle will be solved. The players will receive 30 primogems, 200 Affluence Talisman, and 30000 Mora.
