Gameplay Overview
Gran Saga Idle: KNIGHTSxKNIGHTS is an adventure game where your goal is to fight the Black Dragon and win. The storyline is driven by the quests at all times with exciting events and other playstyles to try out. There are stages and each stage has small quests to complete until you fight the boss.
After defeating the boss, you can move on to the next one. New features keep unlocking as you continue your progress in the game. There are no city development concepts and you don’t need to worry much about the gameplay of Gran Saga Idle. It’s pretty simple and easy to comprehend. You don’t need to fight the enemies with constant hustle.
The quests keep appearing on the screen and side by side the fight goes on. All you need to do is build a team of three heroes initially. More space is available in the later levels. You don’t even have to battle using combat icons manually. You must regularly upgrade the heroes and enhance their skills and the rest is handled automatically.
Gran Saga Idle Basics
Hero
The Hero section enables you to see all the heroes in the game along with their faction, class, and skills. You can view their basic attribute info and level them up alongside. Also, there’s an option to limit break the heroes to enhance their powers.

Summon
The Summon section lies in the shop corner of the game under the heading Hero. With the use of Hero Summon Tickets, you can roll out multiple heroes at once. There are three options for summon—Summonx10, Summonx30, and Summonx300.
As the name suggests, these options let you get that number of heroes. Also, there are other elite summon options that unlock when you reach level 6 of the Summon Hero section. These keep changing based on the events ongoing and get you access to three specific great heroes.
Faction
Factions are the different divisions the different heroes belong to. This section particularly displays that collection and how certain heroes paired up together perform the best in battles.
Some of them are the Las Knight Order, Renegades, Kingdom of Ethprozen, Council of Verti, and more. You can claim rewards if any hero of that collection is in the team and kills enemies. You can also view various team compositions here to know better what heroes should comprise the team.
Quests
Quests are an integral part of this game as the storyline drives it and it builds the foundation of gameplay. The quests keep running on the screen continuously so you need to keep performing the activities in quests. As of now, there are three types of quests i.e. Daily, Weekly, and Repeat quests.
The daily and weekly quests have a time limit as their name suggests. You can expect to get Consumables, XPs, Diamonds, and Hero Summon Tickets. The repeat quests are the quests that go on your screen all the time and you get the summon tickets for them.
Inventory
The Inventory is the storage section in the game, so you stack up items you get from the game. These include Consumables, Food, and Relics. The Consumables are Food Chest, Gold, Hero EXP, and more.
You can use them for the quest activities, especially the consumables that serve as one of the frequent repeat quests. You must always utilize these resources mindfully.
Dungeon
The Dungeons unlock at later levels when you’ve tackled a fair number of quests. Dungeons are special playing grounds where you fight under different conditions.
Each level in the dungeon increases with their difficulty. To kill monsters in the dungeon, you have to use the Entry Count tickets. Generally, it’s two but you can watch ads to enter additional times.
Game Pass
There are three different game passes in Gran Saga Idle namely Stage Pass, Knight Order Level Pass, and Quest Pass. For every level increase in the passes, you get Hero Summon Tickets. You can get a great number of tickets from the pass rewards itself.
You can always summon the heroes in bulk because there are plenty of other sources to earn the tickets. The Premium reward unlocks when you buy the premium pass using real-time money which I strongly recommend not to choose.

1. Continue doing the Quests
The Quests in Gran Saga Idle keep running in the background while you work on getting the activities done. As I’ve mentioned above, the quests are of three types: Daily, Weekly, and Repeat quests. The daily and weekly quests are time-limited and renew after it gets over. The repeat quests are what build the game. You get rewards like consumables, gold, diamonds, etc., unlock features, and level up fast while completing the tasks.
2. Limit Break the heroes
You can level up the heroes with sufficient materials but what’s even more effective is breaking off their limits. Giving them a breakthrough concerning their powers is one way to boost their performance. This particular activity enhances their skills and they can easily kill the monsters of higher difficulties in the later stages. As you level up and complete quests, you gain resources to carry on this process sufficiently.
3. Participate in New Events
New events are going on repeatedly in Gran Saga Idle. As per the events, you can get special hero summons in the respective section. For example, the currently available events in the game are Collaboration Event and Match-3 Minigame.
Other events depend on the quest level you’re at and unlock only when you complete that level. With let alone one main event, you can get your hands on amazing rewards and resources. Also, the events give you a chance to showcase your team ability as well as help progress in the game.
4. Try out different Dungeons
Apart from the main gameplay, there are other fighting grounds as well where you can test your team’s skills. There are special monsters for each dungeon fight you enter. They keep on increasing in difficulty and you get two tickets to enter the dungeon. You can get amazing rewards for defeating the enemies that are useful in the main quests. The different dungeons available are Gold Dungeon, Hero EXP Dungeon, Potential Dungeon, and Artifact Dungeon.
5. Enhance Relationship
As I’ve explained before in this piece, the Faction section has the record of various factions of heroes. Each hero belongs to a specific set. Apart from the factions, certain heroes paired up together form great team composition and defeat their enemies quickly.
When you complete quests, win over the bosses, and perform other important in-game activities, the game allows you to enhance the relationship of heroes belonging to a team set. So, make sure to improve their relations and also build your team accordingly.
