Chiz is a playable S-rank Cosmos Gas character in Neverness to Everness. She functioned as a dedicated on-field main DPS in the team and a damage-focused melee character. In this Neverness-to-Everness Chiz build guide, we will cover her Kit, best Arcs, Console, and Teams.
Neverness to Everness Chiz Build Guide: Kit explained
Chiz is an on-field Main DPS character whose kit revolves around gaining Grain and consuming them. Support Skills boost her own Charge efficiency, but prevent teammates from gaining Charge; that’s why teammates with a high charge rate are good for her team. Here is a breakdown of her Basic Attack, Skills, Ultimate, and Passive skills:
Basic Attack
Basic Attack: Exiled Swordplay
Swings the short staff to perform up to 5 consecutive attacks, dealing Cosmos DMG. Grants Grain on hit. Grain is a special combat resource possessed by Chiz after joining the team.
Basic Attack: Barren
Press Barren to throw Brown Sugar Boba to devour the target, dealing 2 instances of Cosmos DMG, granting a certain amount of Grain and Fons. Triggers up to once every 2.5s. Hold Barren during any instance of Exiled Swordplay attacks to create a branch attack, dealing 2 instances of Cosmos DMG and granting a certain amount of Grain and Fons.
Grants bonus Fons if this skill defeats the target—up to 250,000 Fons. Increasing the Tycoon Level to 25 raises the cap to 500,000 Fons. Grants 1 Fons per use once the daily cap is reached, you can’t claim more Fons that day.
Basic Attack: Bountiful Grain
Press Basic Attack while airborne to plunge, dealing 1 instance of Cosmos DMG to an area upon impact, while granting a certain amount of Grain. Increases DMG based on fall height, up to 200%.
Critical Riposte: Minsky Moment
Triggers after using Basic Attack after a Critical Dodge. Leaps to evade and swings the staff, sending Brown Sugar Boba crashing into the target, dealing 1 instance of Cosmos DMG, reducing Break, and granting Grain.
Skill
Chiz consumes Gains with her skill, and after using her skill, she enters a state called Surplus. In this state, she deals additional Cosmos damage based on her Grain count. Her Grain consumption depends on how you are using her skill. You can either hold her skill or simply press it.
When we hold her skill, Grain is continuously consumed, dealing additional continuous Cosmos DMG to the target based on the Grain consumed. When Redirect Skill: Half Grain ends, all of Chiz’s Grain is consumed (including all Grain Loans under the Debt state). Grain Loan is a special combat resource possessed by Chiz after consuming all the Grain. She deals damage by consuming Grain Loan.
When Chiz doesn’t have any grains, she enters a debt state.
Press Redirect Skill again to consume 1 skill charge to end Redirect Skill: Half Grain early, stopping Grain consumption and casting Redirect Skill: Full Grain. Additionally, when Chiz is in the Surplus state, holding casts Redirect Skill: Pink Paws Priority Principle, causing Redirect Skill: No Grain to deal additional Cosmos DMG to the target based on Chiz’s Grain count.
Ultimate
Chiz throws Brown Sugar Boba to attack enemies, dealing AOE Cosmos DMG once, and enters the Grain Market for 7 seconds.
After releasing her Ultimate: Zero-Sum game, all remaining Grain Loans will be converted into Grain, and Chiz will enter the Profit status. Chiz will invest all Grain into the Grain Market, and when her Redirect Skill: Pink Paws Supremacy is used, the Grain Price fluctuations at that time will be used in Grain Settlement to collect corresponding Grain.
When the Grain Market expires or when the character is switched, Chiz exits the Grain Market. All current Grain will be prioritized to repay the Grain Loan. Chiz can enter the Grain Market even when she is in debt status, and the Grain Loan is not 0.
Passive Skills
- Hanahaki Disease: Grants active characters 4 additional Charge. This skill increases team charge efficiency.
- Hoarding: Prevents other team members from gaining Charge and increases Chiz’s Charge Efficiency by 20% while on the field.

Neverness to Everness Chiz Build Guide: Best Console

Best Team Comps for Chiz
Chiz/Hathor/Zero/Jiuyuan
It’s her best team, which has 2 Cosmos characters, 1 Lakshana character, and 1 Anima character. This team triggers Charge elemental reaction, which gives 10 Ultimate energy. Because of this reaction, her Hoarding passive skill doesn’t create any problem during team rotation. Jiuyuan provides crowd control and some damage in this team.
Zero can trigger faster Esper cycle reaction and also provides minor healing, which is beneficial for sustainability. Hathor helps us to trigger Charge reaction in this team and works as a quick soft DPS. Chiz is our main DPS in this team, who will consume Grain to deal damage.
Chiz/Mint/Zero/Jiuyuan
This team has 2 Anima and 2 Chaos, and smoothly triggers Blossom reaction, which deals AoE damage. It doesn’t rely on a single DPS but deals damage by combining every character’s efforts. In this team, Mint buffs Blossom’s reaction by generating additional Lebenblume, and now 6 Lebenblume can stay on the field.
Is Chiz Worth Pulling in Neverness to Everness
At this moment, Chiz is not the strongest DPS in NTE, but she can easily carry you in the early game with a low investment team. If you are pulling her, she can easily carry your account in the early stages.
