Neverness to Everness Daffodil Build Guide: Kit explained
Daffodil is an on-field Main DPS character who specialises in Break Damage. She can destroy opponents’ shields faster than other DPS, which makes her a unique DPS. Here is a breakdown of her Skills, Ultimate, and Passive skills:
Skill
After using her skill, she deals Chaos damage, activates Resonance stacs, and increases damage when any team member casts a support skill. Increases her Break damage based on her support skill stacks and stacks up to 2 times. Break DMG bonus increases by 125% and 50% Chaos DMG bonus with each stack.
When the stacks reach maximum, she shifts her stance, swinging her blade, dealing Chaos damage to the target.
Ultimate
Deals Chaos damage to enemies in an area. She unseals her left eye, which increases her damage and inflicts insight. Insight deals additional break damage, and the insight effect will be removed if the enemy shield is broken. She also unlocks a skill called Phantom Step, which can be used up to 2 times.
Phantom step resets when we unleash her Ultimate again. In this state, she deals serious Chaos and Break damage twice. Phantom stem unleashes automatically when switching to Daffodil from another character or switching to another character.
Passive Skills
- Blade Draw: When you trigger a Discord reaction, enemies’ Break cap reduces by 10% for 30 seconds. When you switch characters during combat, Break cap is further reduced by 30%. With this passive, you can break enemies’ shields faster.
- Cicada Shell: Increases Daffodil’s DEF by 50% for 5 seconds when casting Phantom Step.

Her damage relies on Break intensity, so any arc with Break Intensity is a very good choice for her. |

Daffodil Best Team Comps
Daffodil/Sakiri/Fadia/Adler
It’s a Discord reaction-focused team that reduces enemies’ Break Shield. Daffodil is our main DPS in this team. Sakiri will buff the team and also control the crowd. Fadia redirects the damage and also provides buffs for the whole team. Adler is our shielder in this team, and he also deals DoT damage.
Daffodil/Fadia/Lacrimosa/Haniel/Adler
It’s another Discord reaction-focused team that deals additional damage to enemies. Fadia and Daffodil’s roles are the same in this team. Lacrimosa is our second DPS, who will also deal damage with her DoT damage and enhance Discord damage. Adler will trigger the Discord reaction and also give a shield.
Daffodil/Baicang/Sakiri/Adler
It’s a Scorch reaction-focused team that deals DoT damage. Adler applies three random debuffs to enemies after triggering Scorch and provides a team-wide shield. Baicang is a burst DPS and also enhances scorch reaction damage. Sakiri controls the crowd and enhances DoT damage taken by enemies.
Is Daffodil worth Pulling
She is an excellent DPS who destroys enemies, Breaks, and deals damage faster than other DPS. Pulling her is a totally worthy idea.
