Shadow Suicune is a Tier 5 Legendary Raid Boss in Pokémon Go. Shadow Raids give you the chance to fight against Shadow Pokémon along with an opportunity to capture them if you can defeat them successfully. It is a blue mammal-like Pokémon with white diamond-shaped spots and a white underside. It also has a purple mane which acts like a cape. This will be a challenging raid to take part in, which is why in this Pokémon Go guide, we will talk about the best ways and counters using which you’ll have the best chances against Shadow Suicune.
Shadow Suicune in Pokémon Go
Shadow Suicune is a pure Water-type Pokémon with a maximum CP of 3372 at level 50. It is weak towards only Electric and Grass-type attacks and takes reduced damage from Fire, Ice, Steel, and Water-type counters. Even if you are a high-level player with the best set of counters out there, it will still be impossible for you to fight against Shadow Suicune all by yourself.
So I’ll recommend you to go in groups of no less than five to six high-level players. You will also need to carry Shadow Shards and Purified Gems along with yourself into the battle as without them you’ll have zero chances of winning.
Shadow Suicune Moveset
The best moves from the moveset of Shadow Suicune are Snarl and Hydro Pump. They have a DPS of 13.09 along with a TDO of 454.09. It is also the best combination of moves that you can use in both Pokémon Gyms and PvP battles.
Other good options that I’ve found to be powerful from the movepool of Shadow Suicune are Extrasensory, Ice Beam, Bubble Beam, Water Pulse, and Ice Fang amongst other good options.
