Restrictions of budget are common in low tier clubs. Every thousand counts in these lower league teams since the clubs just don’t have the financial power to fund transfers. This makes bringing in high-value players much harder. Here is a list of 10 young players that you can sign for your squads in Soccer Manager 2021. These young and high potential players can surely lift up your squad level much higher. Even if you are not a team specifically strict with a budget, these players can still be a great help to you as cheaper alternatives to higher-priced players in SM21.
Who are the best young players in Soccer Manager 2021?
1. Tudor Baluta – £3 million
There is a lot of potential in this 21-year-old. Baluta is more of a defensive-minded player that can play in defense as well as in deep midfield. Although it is great to use Baluta as a versatile rotation player, you will need to give him regular playing time to get his performance to its absolute peak.
2. Keyendrah Simmonds – £1.25 million
This Manchester City winger is quite versatile in attack and can play as a wide attacking midfielder, as well as across the front three. The 19-year-old has a lot of potentials and can turn out to be one of the best in his position if worked well in the squad.
3. Beni Baningime – £3 million
This top prospect from Everton will be quite difficult to lure away from the Toffees. However, at 21-years-old, if given enough playing time, he can turn out to be a great well-balanced midfielder for your squad.
4. Louie Sibly – £4.75 million
He is quite pricy for someone of that rating, but that is only because he is a top prospect for Derby County. If you can guarantee him regular playtime, even if it is by sending him off on loan, then you should sign him up. At only 18 years of age, Sibly has the potential to be one of the world’s best midfielders, but he needs consistent playing time which you must give him to prosper.
5. Lamine Diaby-Fadiga – £1.5 million
The Frenchman plays primarily as a Target Man striker with an eye for goal. This tactic is proven in SM21, having a Target Man in front of the goal is very useful for your scoreline to go up. With a long career ahead of him, Diaby-Fadiga could be made into a quality striker for the future.
6. Adam Karabec – £5.75 million
A little more expensive than the others but also one of the best. This player is seen as a very promising future for Sparta Praha but at only 17-years-old, he still has a lot to learn. For this player, you will be looking at a potential rating of over 94+ if he is worked with properly. With that potential and for such a low price, Karabec is truly a great bargain player.
7. Axel Bakayoko – £5.75. million
The oldest of the list is the Frenchman, Bakayoko, who is seemingly happy to play in a huge variety of positions. Throw him wideout on the wing or drop him deep into your midfield, he will play with pleasure. The lad has a lot of potential in him and the regular playing team will get him there.
8. Mark Travers – £3 million
Goalkeepers tend to reach their peak at around 30+ years old, this player is only 21. For a low budget team in need of a goalkeeper, Travers may be one of the best options out there. With the potential, he can reach and the price you can get him for, this is a huge bargain buy.
9. Kwame Poku – £1.5 million
This English winger can play anyway in the attacking midfield sector and with a huge career waiting for him, Poku could be a great signing. You may remember this player from Soccer Manager 2020, where he was a quality wonder kid. There seems to be no change this season either, having both high potential and low price.
10. Luca Connell – £1.75 million
Another very versatile player, the Irishman comes at quite an affordable price. At just 19 years old, Connell could be transformed into a great player. Like all the others though, he will need regular playing time and training for him to get near to his absolute peak.
