Clash Of Clans
The game released in 2012, and quickly garnered a million downloads. The game was one of its kind, with amazing graphics, various strategies, and unique gameplay. It turns 8 this year and has a very large and amazing community. It received two major updates – Town Hall 13 and Builder Base 9, and a new hero – the Royal Champion. Because of the growing “Battle Pass” trend in the industry, Clash Of Clans introduced the “Gold Pass” with amazing rewards for a nominal price. 2019 saw the first Clash Of Clans World Championships take place in Germany, which was monumental for the game, from an esports point of view.

Brawl Stars
Surprisingly, Mr Paananen said that Brawl Stars received mixed reviews from teams at Supercell. It was after a very long beta, from 2017 to 2018, and finally released globally in December 2018. 2019 was Brawl Stars’ first full year of global launch, and it has improved massively since beta. Mr Paananen states that Brawl became the number 1 game in South Korea, and this led to the launch of “Supercell Lounge” in Seoul, a comfy space where players can play their games in peace while meeting new people. The last year also witnessed the launch of “Supercell Make“, where the community designs skins for their favorite Brawl characters. Nova Esports won the first-ever Brawl Stars World Final, held in Busan. Mr Paananen has said that Brawl Stars will be their most community-centric game, and we don’t doubt it.
