Farlight Games has announced the closed-beta test for their upcoming 3D world-based strategy card role-playing game, AFK Journey. The game is developed by Lilith Games and published by Farlight Games. The closed beta test began on the 28th of November and will be open till the 2nd of December 2023.
Both iOS and Android users will be eligible to participate in the test, but the title is only present in Google Play for now. However, the game didn’t share any information on how many players it would choose for the test. The test will begin on the 6th of December 2023.
The game compiles a beautiful 3D world in the well-known AFK Arena universe
AFK Journey is set in the beautiful world of 3D canvas art, a place named Esperia. The title will introduce a few tactical elements such as chessboard positioning, interactive objects, skill targeting, and an innovative “Bullet Timing” mechanism. This will help you to win combats against the others even if they’ve higher stats.
Besides, an instant new hero deployment system called the “Resonance System” will also featured in the game. In AFK Journey, levels resonate across all heroes. It will have a quick equipping feature so that you spend much less time and resources on level-ups. The game will be more player-friendly than the other AFK titles.
How to participate in the AFK Journey closed beta test
This will be a limited test, thus, only a few players will be chosen to participate. The closed beta test will be a F2P test where all the user data will be wiped out later. Players will receive a cosmetic item called “Rosy Blindfold” as a reward for participating. Besides, a special title will also be awarded. If you’re selected as eligible, you’ll be notified via email 1 to 3 days prior to the test begins. The schedule for the closed beta test of AFK Journey is as follows.

The pre-registration for the closed-beta test is now open and interested players can simply go to the official pre-registration page to participate. Here is the step-by-step guide to pre-registrar the game.
- Go to the game’s official pre-registration page for the closed-beta test. Click on the “Sign Up” button.
- According to the device on which you wanted to test the game, select it. If you’re an iOS user then click on “iOS“, and for Android users, click on “Android“. Apple device users have to provide their Apple account email and must have the TestFlight app pre-loaded.
- Now, enter your email address in the first blank box and tap “Send“. A verification code will be sent to the email address.
- Open your mail application and copy the code. Note that, the code will be active for 10 minutes. So, without delay, get the code before it expires.
- Paste the code in the second blank box and click on “Submit“. A congratulations message will appear and you’re done with the pre-registration!
After completing the pre-registration, the game will ask you to participate in a questionnaire. Providing adequate information will raise the chance of being selected.
