Kodansha has announced to launch their acclaimed short interactive novel title, and Roger, on Android, iOS, and Switch 2 on June 18, 2026. Developed by TearyHand Studio, this indie game was initially released in June, 2025, and now an update is also coming around the same time as this mobile release.

So, and Roger, is a casual interactive novel that tells a fictional story, but one that may feel too close to the uncomfortable aspects of reality. Here, you experience everything from the protagonist’s perspective, which makes you question what really makes sense and what doesn’t.
The story begins like any normal morning, but quickly takes a dark turn when she finds a stranger sleeping on the couch instead of her father. I like how the moment he wakes up and mumbles something, we feel the tension spike. And from there, you follow her through this twisted journey, and honestly, I can’t be excited enough to witness what happens.
Overall, the game feels very promising, especially given the overwhelmingly positive response on Steam and all the awards it won. Now the best part? It is short, with only three chapters, so you can finish the gameplay in about an hour. Besides gameplay, the art style and visual presentation also look great.
