BladeRite: Rivals is all set to bring fast-paced battle royale action to mobile devices. The newest closed beta test has been announced, titled the “6-7 BETA”, which will be going live on Android in select regions starting from April 23, 2026.
BladeRite: Rivals will focus on a 20-player battle royale wrapped quickly
A little bit of history about the game. BladeRite: Rivals was previously known as Project A: Melee Battle Royale when it was first announced last year. It has already gone through a few early tests under that name, so if you tried that, the visuals and gameplay will look familiar.

BladeRite is trying something a bit different in the battle royale space. Instead of guns, the focus is fully on close-range combat, swords, abilities, and a bit of magic thanks to the theme. You’re dropped into a match with up to 20 players, and it’s mostly about timing your attacks, dodging, and using your skills properly.
Matches are also shorter, usually around 7 minutes, so it will be quicker to finish compared to the longer format of the genre. There are multiple characters you can equip too, including the likes of Karlbrujah, Sethelia, Peggy, and others.
With all this under its belt, BladeRite: Rivals will host the upcoming test for players in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Brazil, Egypt, and Iraq. The test will kick off on April 23, 2026, but the ending date isn’t confirmed yet. You can visit the official website for more details.
As expected with these phases, progress won’t carry over, and everything will be reset once the test ends. The developers have also made it clear that this is still a work-in-progress build, so features may change before the final release, which hasn’t been confirmed yet.
