Unlike other AAA mobile titles in the scene right now, Apex Legends Mobile is the one that has wholly adopted its PC gameplay experience to handheld devices. However, that doesn’t mean that the game comes with zero surprises reserved for the mobile audience. Fade, is the latest legend introduced in the Apex franchise in a mobile-exclusive one. Fade’s unique abilities like FlashBack is a game-changer for any platform and challenge the competitive nature of Apex. It looks like Respawn Entertainment is not going to just stop there. According to leaks, there are five more upcoming mobile-exclusive legends already lined up for Apex Legends Mobile, in the year 2022.
Upcoming legends in Apex Legends Mobile for 2022
In a tweet posted by Apex Legends Mobile Leaks, they claim that there are five new legend names that can be discovered through the in-game files. The legends are titled, Seeker, Botanist, Ampere, Spider, and Monkey King. As of now, there is no information available about the nature of these legends.
These also might be codenames for the future Legends. Also, there aren’t any clues as to what their abilities will be. While fans may be able to derive somewhat about their persona through the names, it is going to take a while before we actually come to see if they are true.
Currently, in Apex Legends Mobile, there is a limited pool of legends to select from. Hot favorites from the PC version like Valkyrie, Ash, and Fuse are still to appear in Apex Mobile. These agents have an extremely high pick rate, compared to others in the pool. However, given that players are already aware of their abilities, their impact in the meta is unlikely to be as ground shaking. The mobile-exclusive legends like Fade bring completely new flavors to the competition.
Loba might appear with the next battle pass season
Further leaks suggest Loba, the female support agent, who was introduced in Season 5 in Apex PC, might be coming to Apex Mobile, as part of the next battle pass. The leaker claims that Loba Pieces, which are character points needed to unlock the agent and her emoji packs have been spotted in the game files.
Introducing LOBA, the new support Legend
As a support Legend, Loba specializes in locating high-tier loot for the team through her passive ability – Eye for Quality. This allows her to see through walls and ping Purple and Gold-tier loot.
Her tactical ability is Burglar’s Best Friend allows her to throw a bracelet that teleports her to wherever it lands. Her ultimate is titled Black Market Boutique. Activating it places a pillar that allows any player that interacts with it to teleport ammunition and up to two items from the surrounding area directly into their inventory.
