AFK Journey, the fantasy RPG by Farlight Games, has been honored with the iPhone Game of the Year award. Developed by Lilith Games, the game features a stunning world crafted with 3D canvas art, a strategic hex battle map to freely assemble different hero lineups, various other battle maps, and 46 heroes from six different factions. Along with its auto battle and AFK features, the game deserves this award and recognition.

In the iPad Game of the Year category, Supercell’s action-packed title, Squad Busters took home the award. Released on May 29, 2024, the game quickly climbed to the top of the App Store charts, standing out for its fun gameplay.

Balatro+, the roguelike poker game which is a mix of card games like Solitaire and Poker, got the Apple Arcade Game of the Year, and it rightfully deserved it. Apart from the traditional awards, Apple also gave Cultural Impact awards to NYT Games by The New York Times Company, The Wreck by The Pixel Hunt, and Do You Really Want to Know 2 by Gamtropy Co., Ltd.
