Arena Of Valor finally shuts down operations in India post App ban

AOV bids farewell to India, for now

After the Indian government announced a ban on 59 and then 118 apps of Chinese origin, like PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Arena of Valor, etc. citing that they were dangerous to the sovereignty and integrity of the country amid the ongoing geopolitical dispute between India and China. Arena of Valor repeatedly conveyed in the public forums that they are working with the Indian government to resolve the issue. It seems that the Indian side is not in the mood to unban it soon and the news came in that Arena Of Valor finally shuts down their India Operations.

Statement from the Arena of Valor Team

The Arena of Valor team released the following statement today:

Dear Indian players,

Pursuant to the interim order from the Indian government, we are unable to operate Arena of Valor in India anymore.

User privacy and data security are our top priorities. All game data, including any personal information, will be deleted within 30 days, except where we have a legal obligation to retain that data, or it is retained to preserve any legal rights.

You fought your way through the combat, drew first blood, and carried your team. We’ll always remember your Legendary performance in the arena!

Thank you. Farewell, for now.

– Arena of Valor Team

As Arena Of Valor Shuts down their India Operations, they mentioned in the statement that the user privacy and data security are their top priority. So there are high chances that we can again witness the epic clashes of AOV once the issues between the countries are resolved.

Arena Of Valor Shuts India Operations

Arena of Valor announced in April this year that the Indian server would be halted soon and they launched a new server for the South Asia region. We still don’t know that what will happen with the Indian workforce but they will definitely want to resume their operations As soon as possible.
