Featherweight Games has now announced their latest title Auto Pirates: Captains Cup, which is a fun strategic auto-battler currently in early access for select regions. In addition, Auto Pirates: Captains Cup will see an official launch this August 22nd, 2024 for both Android and iOS platforms.
Have a taste of a fun, pirate-themed deckbuilding auto-battler in Auto Pirates: Captains Cup
After creating successful titles such as Botworld Adventure, one of my choices for the best open-world mobile games, and Skiing Yeti Mountain, Featherweight Games introduces another engaging experience in the competitive strategy genre. In Auto Pirates: Captains Cup, the gameplay is simple: you choose your crew, equip your ship, and go for fun and tactical battles for loot based on your global rank.
Here, you earn plunder and trophies for your exploits on the seas and create the perfect pirate hideout for your crew. You can combine pirates from four fantasy factions with magical relics and various ships to optimize your strategy or create fun chaos. You can shoot, board, blast, burn, sink, or push your opponents to gain an advantage and aim for the top 1% prize.
The game features over 80 different pirates, all available without purchase. Pirates are divided into seven classes, including Boarders, Cannons, Musketeers, Defenders, and Support, each with unique skills suitable for different situations and strategies. With over 100 relics, you can create powerful synergies and vary your gameplay.
The developers have also emphasized that this game has no pay-to-win mechanic or grind-to-win, so if you are looking to have one at any time, this can be your go-to pick.
Auto Pirates: Captains Cup has opened early access ahead of release
The game is currently in Early Access on Android and has been soft-launched on iOS in Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. You can access either the Google Play Store or App Store for the same.
As mentioned earlier, the global launch of Auto Pirates: Captains Cup is set for August 22nd on both iOS and Android platforms, so keep your eye out for the same.
