Level Infinite (Tencent’s subsidiary that worked on Arena of Valor), Archosaur Games (The developer of Noah’s Heart), Disney, and Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment have now announced their upcoming Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) Shooter game called Avatar: Reckoning.
Archosaur will be working on the game’s development, which will be set in the fictional world of Pandora, and Level Infinite will be publishing it. The game will most likely have a campaign in which players will get to explore the visually appealing world alongside PvP modes. Some people would also remember an older Avatar mobile game called Avatar: Pandora Rising which was a strategy-based title. However, it never saw the official global release.
AVATAR: Reckoning game will globally release in 2022
It has been confirmed that AVATAR: Reckoning will release in 2022 itself. There’s also a sequel to Avatar releasing this December. But before the official release, there will be closed beta testing starting very soon!
How to sign up for AVATAR: Reckoning closed beta test
An important thing to note is that the game will go into closed beta in Canada during the first quarter of 2022. Interested players can sign up here. The closed beta is expected to select participants from both Android and iOS.
Now any data from the beta won’t be saved as it’s purely to collect feedback on the game and not everyone who signs up will be selected. The concept of the game sounds pretty cool although there’s no gameplay footage yet. However, with some big names working on it, it should be interesting to see how the game does and what it brings to the table.
