Bandai Namco’s Mobile Suit Gundam: UC Engage will release in Japan this year

Another game added to the Mobile Suit Gundam series, now for Mobile platforms

Bandai Namco, well known for developing games like Dragonball, Tekken, Dark Souls, Naruto, etc. has announced a new mobile RPG called Mobile Suit Gundam: UC Engage, which will have a release in Japan this year. 

Mobile Suit Gundam is a popular anime series and video game series with games like Mobile Suit Gundam Operation and Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme. These games were available only for PCs and PlayStation, but now the players will be able to play the hit game even on their mobile phones without having to buy gaming consoles. Mobile Suit Gundam: UC Engage will be released on Android and iOS but will only release in Japan for now. The global release of the game is not yet confirmed.

Mobile Suit Gundam: UC Engage: Gameplay

Mobile Suit Gundam: UC Engage will be a free-to-play, 6v6 battle game with auto-battle controls. Along with the announcement regarding the release of the game, a PV was also released. As the title suggests and as we can see in the video, the game will be based on the Universal Century timeline and will include pilots such as Amuro Ray, Kamille Bidan, Judau Ashta, etc.

The game is currently in pre-registration ahead of a release

The game is available for pre-registration in Japan from November 9. Players can pre-register for the game on the App Store and Google Play Store. On reaching 100,000 pre-registrations all the players will get 3,000 diamonds.

Mobile Suit Gundam: UC Engage is a war simulation game telling the history of the Gundam universe. Not much is revealed about the game. More details of the game will be announced on Tuesday, November 16 at 22:00 JST through a presentation. Toru Furuya, the Official voice artist Of Amuro Ray will also be attending the presentation.
