Last week, Battlegrounds Mobile India, popularly known as BGMI was released as early access amidst unreal hype. It met with a response unheard of in the Indian mobile gaming community. Fruit of the patience of Indian fans ever since PUBG Mobile was banned in the country last year, fans have immediately immersed themselves into the game as soon as the early access was made public. Along with its release, we also came to know of a possible Super Season in BGMI, which will essentially be like a regular season but at a scale like never before. In this article, we’ll be going through all the leaks we know in Battlegrounds Mobile India Super Season 1.
New things to arrive with Super Season 1
Advanced pick up settings
A new addition to the already existing pick up settings, this will allow you to choose your optimal attachments for a particular gun to save the hassle of switching attachments while looting mid fight. For example, if you choose the Half grip as your preferred grip, then only that will be picked up even if there are other grips around. It applies for all attachments in Battlegrounds Mobile India.
New lobby companion
The super season will bring with it a new companion which will only be available in the main lobby and will act as an inbox for in-game notifications. Please note that players won’t be able to take into a match as it is limited to the lobby only.
Pochinki revamp
Pochinki, the heart of Erangel and a popular hot drop will be getting revamped into a more modern and polished town with new buildings replacing a portion of the old ones. It’ll be known as Transit Centre and all the hyperlines across Erangel will merge here. This new makeover is expected to attract more players and make fights even intense with all the new surroundings.
New ship near Georgopool port
Players will now be able to see a new cargo ship docked near the Georgopool port also known as Georgopool crates in . An imposing structure, it’s unknown as of now whether loot will spawn there or not in Battlegrounds Mobile India .
Georgopool revamp
The main port area of Georgopool where we see stacks of crates and containers, will be getting a massive remodelling. It’ll get modernized with conveyors and automated transportation devices. The crates will have a new texture and the warehouses will be made bigger with a more futuristic aspect added to them. The crane in the port, which is usually accessible by a set of stairs, will be replaced by an electric lift.
Military Base revamp
Probably the most popular hot drop in Erangel, the Military Base in Sosnovka island will be getting a do over as well, along with Pochinki and Georgopool. It’ll be known as Sosonvka Security Centre and will feature many new buildings and also remodellings of the old ones. It will have larger, more spacious buildings and automatic doors as well. The ever loved C-block will remain the same though.
New mark mechanism in map
Until now, we have been used to seeing a regular mark getting placed when we tap on the map. But in this new update, we’ll get a beacon from the place where we’ll place our mark on to facilitate easier navigation without looking at the map every time. While parachuting it will also offer an auto jump feature which will take directly within 100 metres of the mark/beacon.This will be an interesting update to Battlegrounds Mobile India.
Spawn Island changes
The Spawn Island will face minor changes in the form of new containers, a conveyor belt for some reason, and a broken building similar to the new buildings in Pochinki.
Customized sensitivity settings
This new section in the sensitivity settings will allow the player to preset different sensitivity settings for each gun in the game, including pistols.
Matrix Event
A new event has been added for the upcoming Super Season.
Even though the leaks have come forward, there have been no clear indication if some of the changes are exclusive to the Matrix Arena event. It seems as the revamps are gonna be permanent new changes, but it remains to be seen if it’s indeed so until Krafton makes the official announcement.
