Big Things on the way to Ragnarok X: Next Generation with Level 100 content and Season 3 showdown

Exciting stuff is on the way in Ragnarok X: Next Generation. Whether you’re PVE, PVP, or just like watching players duke it out, you should read on and find out what’s coming. 

If you’re interested so far, but not clued up on the game, you might have heard of a little title called Ragnarok Online. It was one of the huge names in the MMORPG world back in the early 2000s. After many of RO’s original servers closed, Ragnarok X arrived as a successor to the legendary title. It’s a familiar world, but presented in adorable JPRG-style cel shading.

New Level 100 Content

The biggest change in this new update, the one everyone’s talking about, is level 100. With the Ascension, players can now reach Level 100 and enjoy the greater power and bigger numbers this brings. 

Of course, there’s no point in being Level 100 if you have nothing to do. Fortunately, there is a ton of new content specifically for adventurers that hit the level cap.  There are new dungeons, new maps, new quests, and a commission board. 

War Of The Chosen S3

Along with the Level update comes Season 3 of War Of The Chosen, ROX’s ultimate 5v5 PVP showdown. The schedule is detailed in the picture below, with the battle zones decided and several rewards up for grabs. 

This season introduces the new Division System, too. Servers are now divided into Standard Divisions and Peak Divisions. You compete and gain ranks within your Division. This means fairer fights, and a chance to make your name in your own niche, as well as reap Division rewards. The tougher the Division you’re competing in, the better the prizes.

S3 also brings in a bunch of added features to improve your game. We’ll run over each of them in brief for you here:

• Hype System. Global broadcasts and killstreak UI so you can showboat appropriately. 
• Realtime Battle Stats. Damage, Heals, and K/D show on the real-time scoreboard. 
• Minimap. Get pillar positions in real-time to better coordinate your approach and minimize guesswork. 
• Prep Phase Switchouts. You can now change presets, skills, or gear in the preparation phase, so you’re not locked in. (Well, not locked in to a loadout. You should be generally locked in in WOC.)

Your success brings exclusive rewards. There are WOC coins, as well as costumes and mounts exclusive to S3. The winning team will be immortalized with their statues in the Hall of Fame.
