Korean developer and publisher Pearl Abyss has successfully wrapped up the Heidel Ball 2024 for Black Desert Mobile, revealing a host of thrilling updates that are set to enhance the game. The event introduced a new sword-wielding class called ‘Dosa,’ the Summer Season, a new survival mode named ‘Aznak Arena,’ and an exciting monster zone, ‘Star’s End,’ among other features.
New Class and Summer Season announced at the Black Desert Mobile Heidel Ball 2024
The highlight of the Heidel Ball 2024 was the announcement of the new Dosa class, which will be available starting Tuesday, July 30, coinciding with the launch of the new Summer Season. Dosa, the Summoner of Warriors of Fog, wields the powerful “Hwando” sword and a “Gombangdae” pipe. His abilities include “Blade Waltz,” featuring intricate sword dance moves, “Winter Squall,” summoning fog warriors to fire icy arrows, and “Cloudspire,” which creates distance and calls fog warriors to attack.
The new Summer Season, running from July 30 to September 24 offers players a fivefold boost in character progression. Adventurers creating new season characters will embark on rapid growth journeys, with rewards including ‘Brilliant Chaos Unknown Glyphs‘ and exciting login bonuses such as ‘Shakatu’s Seal.’
New Survival Mode and Monster Zones
Aznak Arena, a new survival mode combining PvP and PvE elements, was also unveiled. In this mode, guilds form teams to hunt monsters, level up, and compete against other teams. Up to 10 teams can participate in these challenges, enhancing their experience, levels, and combat power by defeating monsters or opposing team members.
Additionally, two new monster zones, ‘Star’s End‘ and ‘Blackstar Fallen Zone,’ have been introduced. These areas, located in the western part of Calpheon, require a recommended Combat Power of 66,000 and 68,000, respectively. Adventurers can gain new knowledge and acquire essential materials for crafting Blackstar weapons, which come with enhanced stats.
Merchantry and Guild Content updates
The Merchantry has been expanded to include the Valencia region, featuring three new areas and an additional town. The level cap has increased from 100 to 120, with new higher-grade wagons, the ‘Noble Wagon’ and ‘Peridot Forest Path Wagon,’ offering better performance and increased capacity.
The new “Castle of Nightmares” guild content allows players to team up and battle formidable bosses. Coordination and cooperation are key, as players must defeat the final boss within a limited time, with support from guild members.
