Black Eyed Peas releases its new single exclusively on Space Apes’s rhythm title Beatstar

Black Eyed Peas, Shakira and David Guetta release their new single Don't You Worry!

Starting today, Beatstar – Touch Your Music, the hit rhythm-based music game from Space Ape Games and winner of Game of the Year at the 2022 Mobile Game Awards, will serve as the exclusive home for the exclusive debut of “Don’t You Worry,” the new single from the Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, and David Guetta. From now until the song’s global release this Friday, June 17, fans can listen to the new collaboration exclusively by playing Beatstar, which is free to play and available on all iOS and Android devices.

While major artists have been dropping their music in Beatstar on the same day as their streaming launches – such as Camila Cabello and Ed Sheeran with their single “Bam Bam” and The Chainsmokers with their recent album, So Far So Good – the “Don’t You Worry” exclusively represents the first time that a single set to release worldwide from globally-recognized pop artists is making its exclusive debut in a game days before anywhere else.

Beatstar has been breaking all records post-launch

Beatstar reached #1 on the overall charts in 24 countries, the top 10 in 70, and is the highest-grossing music game in the world upon its global release on August 31, 2021. Games’ song plays are immersive 150-second experiences that players interact with through touch and sound.

With over 30 million players, a high-performing new song in Beatstar can receive up to 1.1 million plays in a single day, making the game a premier platform for music discovery.

In Beatstar, players tap and swipe to master their favorite songs’ instruments, vocals, or beats. Every beat pulsates through the fingers of players as they discover new songs by their favorite artists on a playlist that rivals the ultimate festival lineup.

Artists on Beatstar – Touch Your Music include Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, Post Malone, Ariana Grande, Coldplay, Tones and I, Muse, Lady Gaga, Marshmello, Mabel, Kygo, Wiz Khalifa, Sia, Pharell Williams, The Black Eyed Peas, Soulja Boy, Rae Sremmurd, Bastille, Royal Blood, Demi Lovato and more.

“Interest in Beatstar has exploded since we started featuring day and date releases of new songs from top artists in the game, and being able to play a song in Beatstar even before it is released on streaming is a game changer all around.”

“Beatstar is a lean-in experience, so when players hear a new song in Beatstar, they bond with both the artist and the song on a much deeper level than they do when it gains traction on streaming and radio.”

“Millions of people globally are discovering new music through our events, and I’m astounded by the caliber of artists willing to collaborate with us. Working with Will and the Peas – and the Epic Records team – is a dream come true.”

Players of Supercell Games can also share their scores and challenges in Beatstar

Supercell, the creator of Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars, owns a majority stake in Space Ape, and several members of the Supercell team were heavily involved in Beatstar’s development. SupercellID is also integrated into the game, allowing players to share their scores and challenge their clanmates from within Beatstar. Beatstar also includes remixes of Supercell game theme songs, with more to come. Beatstar is available for free on all iOS and Android devices.
