Here’s another new title that has caught my attention, and it is a pretty interesting offering. Titled Vanished Puzzle Quest, this puzzle adventure game from Unity Productions Foundation mixes exploration with historical elements from the Islamic Golden Age now live on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam and Epic Games.
Vanished Puzzle Quest combines 2D and 3D puzzles with item crafting and clue solving
The premise of the game is interesting, where you are in a world covered by a strange fog, where everyone has lost their memories. You’re trying to figure out what happened while moving through different locations and solving puzzles tied to real historical tools and ideas.

The gameplay is mostly POV-based exploration, so you’re walking around, interacting with objects, and slowly uncovering clues. The immersiveness is quite nice, although I would have loved it if there were some voice acting, which I didn’t see while watching the gameplay.
The main focus is clearly on puzzles. You’ll be combining items, decoding symbols, and using different artifacts to move forward. Some puzzles are in 2D, some in 3D, and they sit right in the middle of your exploration rather than being separate levels.
Puzzle experience, so it gets a hint system, and you won’t get stuck for too long, which is helpful if you’re not into overly difficult puzzles. There’s also a system where you collect map fragments, which guide you through different locations like Baghdad, Damascus, and Cairo.
The game also has no ads and purchases, so it is a clean experience. If the premise interests you alongside the gameplay, then get Vanished Puzzle Quest on your Android and iOS devices via the Google Play Store and App Store.
