Blue Archive: Nexon launches new Event story Kivotos Halo Festival

Nexon Korea Corporation has launched the newest Event Narrative for the niche video game Blue Archive, created by its subsidiary Nexon Games, titled ON YOUR MARK @ Millenium Kivotos Halo Festival.

Every two years, a significant sports competition is held at the Kivotos Halo Festival. Players may observe how the students deal with unforeseen accidents the day before the opening ceremony in this event scenario. Stadium, a lesson exclusive to events, was also added. By completing event stories, players can earn points that can be exchanged for Hibiki’s Eleph (Cheer Squad) and other prizes.

Three new students have also been introduced in the Blue Archive Kivotos Halo Festival

There are now three additional students. Utaha (Cheer Squad) is a Mystic-type Striker from Millennium Science Academy whose EX talent boosts her turrets for 90 seconds and modifies the activation requirements for her basic skills.

Noa, a Mystic-type Striker from Millennium, possesses an EX Skill that draws attention to the targeted foe for 40 seconds and lowers their defense. Hibiki (Cheer Squad), a character available through the event, is a striker of the Explosive type whose EX move deals damage proportionate to attack to foes in a circle area and provides additional damage over time equivalent to attack for 120 seconds.

Furthermore starting up is the Halo Festival Grand Opening Login Bonus. Gamers who sign up before Tuesday, April 11 will receive 100 Pyroxenes daily; on day seven, they will obtain the Field Day Trophy Case, which is the furniture of the SSR grade. Also, through Friday, April 14, in-game cheerleading practice for the Kivotos Halo Festival will be available. Gamers that successfully complete the objective by clicking “Pom Pom” 35 times in the span of 20 seconds will be rewarded with a variety of items, including 10 Advanced Tactical Training Blu-ray Choice Tickets, five Artifact Choice Tickets, and 600 Pyroxenes.

Prior to the 1.5-Year Anniversary of Blue Archive, Nexon also held a special live broadcast called “Go! Go! Kivotos!” on its official YouTube channel on Friday, March 24. The developers also announced the release of a KakaoTalk emoji and shared a behind-the-scenes video of the upgrade during the show. The impending Blue Archive 1.5-Year Anniversary Celebration, which is slated to take place on May 20 and has drawn a lot of interest from its players, was also announced at the same time.
