ChillyRoom, known for the Soul Knight series and more, has opened pre-registration for their latest roguelike card RPG, Abyssal Soul, on both Android and iOS. The game previously held a beta test in May 2025 and was radio silent until now.

If you’ve not heard about Abyssal Soul, it is probably because the game went quiet after its beta test. So, this is a roguelike card RPG that twists the usual formula, making the order of your cards as important as the cards themselves. And it’s cool how a card doesn’t use energy but instead, consumes several subsequent cards when you cast one.
Here, you can pick from 15 unique heroes across four classes and shape your build using over 700 cards, blessings, runes, and amulets. From what I can see, the game won’t feel repetitive since each run evolves differently thanks to the unique class mechanics and countless synergies.
In battles, you can rearrange your hand on the fly and even preview the enemy’s card sequence to plan ahead. Overall, the game looks promising with its blend of Lovecraftian horrors and classical fantasy hand-drawn art, Forerunner Legacy system, multi-class progression, randomized Roguelike mechanics, and more.
Abyssal Soul is now open for pre-registration on both Android and iOS. So, you can go ahead and pre-register for the game via the Google Play Store or App Store. By pre-registering, you can claim rewards like 10x Key of Destiny, 10x Key of Seek, and 3000x Secrets at launch.
