Sid Meier’s hit strategy title Civilization VI is coming soon to mobile, and it is not just the free version of the game but a complete, Platinum version of the game via Netflix Games on both Android and iOS. The free version was previously released by Aspyr Media, which introduced the Android version of the game back in 2020 following the iOS release in 2017.
Civilization VI release on Netflix comes with a full-fledged edition for players to enjoy
Netflix had a good lineup of games announced during the Geeked Week 2024 presentation, which includes the hit 4X RTS alongside Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game. Even though the game was released and still running on mobile phones, the subscribers of Netflix can enjoy this version the best as it includes all expansion packs and content from the Platinum Edition, eliminating the need for additional purchases.
I think there is no explanation needed regarding this game, as it is an installment from the hit franchise. In this critically acclaimed title, you aim to build an empire as you explore new lands, research advanced technologies, conquer rivals, and go up against some of history’s most famous leaders, all while working to create the greatest civilization ever.
Civilization VI brings exciting new features to the series. As you progress in technology and culture, other leaders will have their own goals based on their historical personalities, and you’ll need to compete with them. The game brings high-quality graphics, fantastic music and sound effects, smooth animations, and thus, high performance.
As of now, Netflix will soon make Civilization VI accessible to its subscribers, including all expansions. Hence, no additional purchases will be required. However, they have not mentioned an expected date of release, but that would most definitely catapult the hit title to an even larger number of players.
