The formerly Apple Arcade exclusive title Populus Run will make its debut on the Android platform following its official launch. Scheduled for a release on September 19th, 2024, the endless-runner from FIFTYTWO is currently available in some regions to install and play.

Populus Run is an unconventional and quirky endless running game where you control a crowd of people as they dash through wild, fast-paced levels. With the camera behind you in third-person view, you’ll need to dodge giant fast food items, slide down waterpark-like pipes, and even battle against rapper-themed bosses like Macaron, Donut, and Burger.
I loved the art style in this game, which I found its visual aesthetic similar to the social adventure game that I’m a big fan of, Sky: Children of the Light. This, alongside the vibrant original soundtrack complete with choral singing, adds to the upbeat and energetic vibe of the game. There is also a mention of the Hardcore mode, which will make the gameplay experience even tougher if you like.
Populus Run comes with an uninterrupted experience, hence it is free to download and comes without any ads. After trying out the first few levels, you have the option to unlock the full version of the game through a one-time in-app purchase. To celebrate its release on Google Play, there’s a special 30% discount on the full version for a limited time.
