Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is a standalone RPG that was originally released for Nintendo Switch along with the Danganronpa Decadence collection set. The game is set at the tropical resort of Jabberwock Island and players can improve their characters via the development Boardgame, Battles, and so on. Now, Spike Chunsoft has announced that Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp will release in North America and Europe on July 21 for PS 4, PC, and Mobile devices. The game will be priced at $19.99 and €19.99 as a pay-to-play game.

Danganrompa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is going to have over 1000 event scenes for its characters and will also over various swimsuit outfits for every character. Players can also collect collab illustrations drawn for merchandise in the MonoMono Machine.
The game can be played in two different modes, the first one being Development which is a board game. In this mode, players will develop their character over 50 days or 50 turns in the summer camp on Jabberwock Island.

Players will have to roll a die to determine how many places to move and so on. Character stats can be improved by leveling up, stopping on a Growth Square, or by interacting with other characters on Event Squares. Players will also need to acquire weapons and armor at shops and in treasure chests. They will also need to utilize cards featuring useful effects for their advantage.
The other mode known as the Battle mode can be played separately from the Battle Squares found on the board game. The players will need to develop their characters and form a party of up to four members. Then they will need to take on the 200-floor Tower of Despair, where the Monokuma-type monsters await their arrival.
There’s also a School Store where players can spend Monokuma Medals and Monocoins. Players can obtain medals and coins in battles to gain new characters and support items using the MonoMono Machine.
