Disney Twisted-Wonderland, an adventure title developed by f4samurai and published by Aniplex will finally release an English version of the game for both Android and iOS devices on January 20, 2022, in North American countries. The companies have also stated that pre-registration for Disney Twisted – Wonderland has already begun as of December 21. The game first launched in Japan on March 18, 2020.
Take various classes and explore the Twisted Wonderland
Players will get to take History of Magic, Alchemy, and Flight classes alongside the students of Night Raven College. And as they dig deeper into their studies, they will unlock more of the story, which has gameplay divided into three parts. At first, there are the story segments, where the players will advance through the tale of Twisted Wonderland. Secondly, there are Battles in which characters fight by slinging spells. And at last but not the least Twistunes, a feature in which players will get to play a rhythm game and tap along to the music.
“As we welcome players in the United States and Canada to the world of Twisted Wonderland with the launch of the mobile game’s English version, we are truly humbled to be given stewardship of this new adventure, joining the beloved and imaginative stories Disney has cultivated for so long,” said Aniplex producer Yusuke Toyama in a press release.
Disney Twisted – Wonderland: Pre-registration rewards
The developers have planned the following rewards for the players for pre-registering:
- 10,000 pre-registrations – Lesson Item 3-Piece Set: Items you can use during lessons to increase the type of EXP earned.
- 15,000 pre-registrations – Magic Key (x3): A special item that allows for a single summon (x3).
- 20,000 pre-registrations – Magic Key and Lesson Item 3-Piece Set: A special item that allows a single summon + items you can use during lessons to increase the amount of EXP earned.
- 25,000 pre-registrations – Magic Key + Starshards (L) (x5): A special item that allows a single summon + a special item that recovers 10 AP, the points required for lessons.
- 30,000 pre-registrations – Celebratory Magical Key: A special item that allows you to summon one SR of your choosing.

I’m glad Twisted Wonderland is getting an English release, but WHY ONLY NORTH AMERICA?! I still won’t be able to play it! and it’s in ENGLISH! why not just release it globally?!
Still, I guess it’s progress. Here’s hoping for an European release to come soon.
I also have the same feeling, but every company prefers NA first because of the massive revenue potential. Although I feel there should not be much extra work to release in EU or SA where English language is used frequently since they are already releasing EN version, there might be some legalities, not sure.
