PlaySide Studios Limited has provided details regarding planned projects, including Dumb Ways to Draw 2 and Dumb Ways to Die 4, which are scheduled for release in 2023, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Dumb Ways to Die and the signing of a new agreement with Netflix.
Ten years ago, Dumb Ways to Die, with its distinct brand of quirky humor and highly catchy song, became one of the biggest breakout viral video sensations of 2012. Its message was a serious one about the need for transportation safety. Since its launch, the channel has generated a whole brand, nearly half a billion views on YouTube, and a top 10 ranking on iTunes Australia.
Dumb Ways to Die continues to be enjoyed by millions of people around the world
Five distinct Dumb Ways to Die games have so far been produced by PlaySide Studios, with Dumb Ways to Draw and Dumb Ways to Die 2 reaching the top spot on the App Store in more than 70 different nations. Over 350 million people have downloaded the games collectively, totaling over 7 billion game sessions.

A BEANS NFT collection was launched in 2022 in the Web3 sector, continuing the popularity of these wacky characters there. PlaySide is creating a thrilling new game set in the BEANS universe to go along with this collection that blends in beautifully. Owners will be able to use their unique BEANS within the game itself.
