ESL partners with Snapdragon, announces the Snapdragon Pro Series 2022 for Mobile Esports

The next phase of mobile gaming is here!

ESL Gaming, one of the world’s leading esports companies, has entered into a partnership with Qualcomm Technologies to host a multigame event globally for mobile devices, named Snapdragon Pro Series 2022. The global event will bring together almost all the renowned and potential gamers from different mobile games under the same roof.

The partnership will create a global esports ecosystem that will revolutionize the mobile esports space. Powered by Snapdragon Elite Gaming, the series offers more than $2 million as prize money on Snapdragon Elite Gaming devices.

Snapdragon Pro Series 2022 will feature multiple esports titles globally

The series will feature multiple games, and players from all around the world will participate. The event will culminate in a final event. The official website of the Snapdragon Pro Series 2022 says that the series will start its journey in April 2022. The list of games has been announced.

The launched trailer of the announced event stated, ‘’The thrill of competitive gaming and the excitement of elite competition will be accessible at any time, from any player’s pocket from any place around the globe. It will provide all players an opportunity to become champions.’’

ESL is adopting a multi-year plan to build a sustainable mobile esports ecosystem

“People in mobile-first regions like China want the best of the best, a console-quality, desktop-level capability in a device that fits in their pocket,” said Dave Durnil, the Global Head of Gaming & Snapdragon Studios at Qualcomm. And while ESL is a leading esports company, the partnership will open many windows. “We wanted to create something that has groundbreaking scale,” ESL Gaming General Manager, Mobile, Kevin Rosenblatt.

The deal between ESL and Snapdragon is a multi-year plan, intending to build a sustainable mobile esports ecosystem. Both companies have been active in the esports industry for many years. So, competitive gamers can expect a new level of opportunity other than what they have now.

The current flow in mobile games is mostly confined to mobile publishers’ game-based ecosystem. So, the impacts of this Snapdragon Pro Series will be greater to build a sustainable mobile esports ecosystem that we can say for sure.
