Following the exciting conclusion of TapTap Pocket Playfest 2023, the first-ever Indie mobile games showcase by TapTap, Extremely Realistic Siege Warfare Simulator by Screambox Studio has emerged as the winner of the coveted title of Player’s Choice Award in the recently concluded event.
Extremely Realistic Siege Warfare Simulator comes out as the best among 10 games
Extremely Realistic Siege Warfare Simulator is a tactical strategy title set in a captivating fantasy medieval realm. In the game, by assuming the role of the squad commander, players can directly possess and control their chosen soldiers, immersing themselves in the heart of the battle.
Alongside the pre-designed levels, players can also use the sandbox editor to create and design their own levels or small castles in the game. While the game was showcased at the event, it is still in the pre-registration stage for the users, which can access it via TapTap.
TapTap Pocket Playfest 2023 had a two-phase schedule to get the winner, consisting of the group stage and the final round. The group stage took place from June 16th to June 25th. In the groups, Extremely Realistic Siege Warfare Simulator was pitted against Strike Buster Prototype in Round 1, and the former emerged victorious in the group stage voting.
The final round for TapTap’s Pocket Playfest kickstarted from June 26th to June 28th, where the game competed against four other group stage winners: Dwerve, Prime of Flames, Heaven Dust, and Cyber Manhunt. The competition was tough as all these games were equally good, but Extremely Realistic Siege Warfare Simulator got an edge in the voting and won the coveted award.

Apart from the strategy title winning the Player’s Choice Award, there have been other awards distributed in different categories for the runners.
