MTC Turkiye Championship Season 2 has ended today with Fire Flux Esports becoming the champion for the second time in a row. This is only the event’s second installment and the team has won them all. In the grand finals today, the champion took a quick win against the other finalists Next Rüya by a sweeping win of 4-0. With the champion title, the team has also secured a place in the upcoming grand event of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Esports, the M5 World Championship 2023.
Before the final took place, the esports event started on the 26th of August 2023 and after the completion of its regular season and the playoffs, it closed the veil on the 15th of October 2023.
The champion team’s run on the MTC Season 2
Featuring a total of 8 participant teams, the event went through its regular season at first. After the end of it, the top 4 teams advanced to the Playoffs stage which started from the upper bracket semifinals. Runner-up Next Rüya met Slow Rush while in the other semifinal game, the champion Fire Flux Esports met Inziva.
The champion took a victory by a scoreline of 2-1 and Slow Rush won by 2-0. Both of the winners, then, faced off against each other in the upper bracket final. The champion team showcased total annihilation and took a sweeping win by making the scoreline 2-0.
Slow Rush went down to the lower bracket final and fought against Next Rüya. But this time, the runner-up took revenge by altering the result and won the game by 3-0. Later on, the team crawled to the grand finals. But the matter of fact is that the champion team did not give any single opportunity to stand up against them. The BO7 final ended in just after 4 rounds as the team took all the first four rounds in their pocket.
Turkey’s champion will represent the country in the M5 Worlds
The event has a slot for the M5 World Championship that is coming ahead. Winning the event has allocated the slot to the MTC Season 2 champion team, Fire Flux Esports. The team will be looking to represent Turkey on the international stage. The pressure will be high as the fans will want to see the team perform. However, Fire Flux will also hope to put up a good show to not disappoint the followers.
