Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 itself brought along with it a sea of new content. It introduced two separate in-game modes in Fortnite namely Fortnite Festival and LEGO Fortnite. A few days back, Epic Games also confirmed that these modes will stay permanently in the game even after the end of the current season. This means there will be many additions to the modes in the future as well as there is a lot of scope. Now according to leaks, a new mode in Fortnite Festival is already in the works, and here’s everything we know about it.
Music Battle might soon become a part of the Fortnite Festival
A data leaker of Fortnite named BeastFNCreative has revealed on X that a new mode named Music Battle will become a part of Fortnite Festival in the coming future. Normally in the Fortnite Festival mode, you are taken onto a stage where you need to hit buttons on time to catch the rhythm and gather points in the process. These points can be further used to unlock various Jam Tracks which you can then play in the game. For this, you’ll need to have access to the battle pass.
Now according to the leaks, the Music Battle mode will let you use musical instruments as weapons and fight using them with other players inside the Fortnite Festival mode itself. Nothing much is known about the mode yet but it will most likely going to mix the elements of the battle royale and Fortnite Festival modes and let players battle it out amongst themselves using musical notes and not normal weapons.
As there has been no official statement from the makers of the game about this mode yet, we have no clue when the actual release of this mode might be. But since the Fortnite Festival is not going away anywhere in the future, we may have to wait for some time till we can find out whether we are going to get another new mode inside the already new in-game mode in Fortnite.
