Fortnite gameplay is very dynamic and it’s super fun to play with friends. Sometimes we do land with absolutely great teammates but sometimes it’s very hard to even communicate. A lot of times we get teamed up with players with an entirely different way of approaching the game. Epic Games like always has come up with an idea to make the gameplay even more easier and interesting for the loopers. They have recently introduced a new feature, Social Tag to help players find better teammates in Fortnite.
Players can now add a Social Tag to get like-minded teammates
Epic Games came up with a new option to add social tags to your profiles. Now, these social tags aren’t complicated to deal with, you will have 3 options to fill. The following options need to be filled:
- Your favorite game mode
- Your gameplay vibe ( mic off, on, camper, rusher)
- Preferred competitive event
How to add a Social Tag to your Fortnite profile
The social tag will make match-making so much easier, as you’ll be able to send party invites to the player with similar social tags and similarly, also be able to receive invitations. The invitation will be sent and received from players in the same server region. Players can send these invites from the new Looking for party section in the sidebar.
- Click on the profile icon on the sidebar
- Select + Add tag
- This will enable a social tag in your profile
This is Fortnite’s LFG (looking for group) feature. You will have to turn on Looking for a party to enable this system. You can turn it on and off anytime. When playing in duos, trios, and squads looking for the party would be optional, the normal invite system will remain. This system is a really good initiative by Epic Games to help players match up with players with similar gameplay styles.
