Fortnite to gradually introduce custom skins to the game confirms Epic Games CEO

This might be limited to Creative mode only!

In the ongoing Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, loopers have received a new island, characters, weapons, fresh mechanics, and more items. It is one such popular battle royale game that never ceases to amaze players with its alluring and wide range of collaborations. They collaborate with different entertainment and gaming franchises. The game also boasts a huge variety of skins that are made available in the in-game store. Recently, Fortnite players have had high hopes of getting custom skins. They might be able to customize their own cosmetics skins with the upcoming Creative 2.0.

A post recently received a response on Twitter inquiring whether players may anticipate being able to create unique skins and test them out in Creative 2.0. In its reply, Epic Games CEO Sweeney confirmed, “Eventually, but not soon”. This has left players speculating about the ways and means that could make it a reality.

Creative 2.0 could allow creators to customize their skins in Fortnite

With Creative 2.0, Fortnite Creative will be getting a significant upgrade. This will offer players considerably more freedom to build whatever they want in Fortnite. It appears that Fortnite will enter into a new era with the arrival of the Unreal Editor, Creative 2.0. And now, the tweet from Epic Games CEO Sweeney hints at the possibility that players may be able to design custom skins and test them out with the upcoming Creative 2.0.

Although Fortnite players are hyped about this new possibility which could offer them new cosmetics of their design, it isn’t clear if they will be able to use it in Battle Royale mode. It may be limited to the Creative mode only, where creators will be able to create custom characters for their maps. For now, players have to wait for further official information about any such mechanisms hitting the game.
