A number of recent leaks suggest that a Fortnite x Fall Guys crossover event is going to take place across both the games, potentially very soon. This, if true, points to some sort of trial event where competitors can gain new cosmetics.
The new season of Fall Guys is set to debut soon, with the game rumored to be made free for the first time. This might be the time for the Fortnite Trials, as Epic would likely want to advertise Fall Guys’ transition to free-to-play once it occurs.

Two new URLs associated with Fall Guys and Epic Games that redirected to the Fortnite website surfaced recently, as identified by Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey. These URLs have since been modified, proving the Fortnite connection and maybe an “Epic Fall Guys competition.”.
With these leaks surfacing, Fall Guys appears to be following in Rocket League‘s footsteps in terms of this collaboration with Fortnite. Fall Guys Trials is planned to function similarly to the recent Lantern and Zero Build Trials, with players awarded for completing easy in-game challenges. Fall Guys will host a series of challenges, similar to the Llama-Rama event, which requires players to play Rocket League in order to gain Fortnite goodies.
Fall Guys appears to be looking for a comeback with the help of Epic Games. While turning free would help to expand the user base, it still needs a big content upgrade to maintain its popularity. Furthermore, having its own skin in Epic’s popular battle royale game would help it stand out even more.
