Free Fire announces points won’t be deducted for players eliminated by hacks after the May 2022 update

Players can now play swiftly as they will not lose points due to the indulgence of any hack!

Garena Free Fire will soon be available with a new version of the advanced server called OB34, which will bring brand new features and changes to the game. Among the main changes in the Free Fire May 2022 update, the way players interact with the hacks and cheats will be listed among the top as previously players were facing a lot of problems due to the access of third-party software in the game to win matches. However, there is good news for players who are often eliminated by hacks and cheats. When playing Ranked mode if eliminated by hackers, no player will face points deduction after the May 2022 update in Free Fire.

No points will be deducted for players eliminated by hackers

There are players who might understand every game as their winning arena and in order to win they might go out of the league. Due to the availability of third-party software certain players find it easy to win every match in any game as it provides shortcuts that make any game easier. In spite of Garena maintaining a user-friendly gaming environment by continuously updating and banning accounts to those using that software, there are still cheating players who aren’t afraid to use hacks for their own pleasure.

As of now, the good news is after the update, players who are eliminated by hacks will have no deduction in ranking points. So users will be able to play comfortably after Free Fire May 2022 update. Cheaters will be banned and genuine players will not have their Rank points reduced.

The changes will apply to classic Ranked Battle Royale as well as Contra Squad. If any player is eliminated by a hacker while playing the game, there is no reduction of points as there is a normal calculation of points (no reduction or addition). However, there is a slight difference when playing Ranked Versus Squad, users will not receive a reduction if the team has enemy cheats:

  • If the player loses a Ranked match of Contra Squad and there are hackers on the enemy side, there’ll be no reduction of Rank stars and protection points.
  • If the player wins in a Ranked match of Contra Squad, even if there are hackers on the enemy side, the calculation will still be the same as usual.
