New Fishing System
According to trustworthy industry insiders, miHoYo will include a new fishing feature in the game’s 2.1 update. According to the leaks, the new mechanic will allow players to fish at various fishing places, which are defined by visible ripples in the water. Each fishing spot appears to be home to a specific species of fish.
Each type of fish in the game is said to have its own favored bait, and different types of fishing rods are required to catch different sorts of fish. Only the Moonstringer Rod has been leaked so far. According to the leaks, certain fish are ornamental, which is the more valuable form and can be produced in the Serenitea Pot. Caught fish are also leaked to be tradable at different fishing associations.
Characters
There are four characters that have been leaked to have their respective banners released along with Genshin Impact’s 2.1 update.
Raiden Shogun Baal God of Eternity
Baal is the current Electro Archon and member of The Seven who presides over Inazuma. He is also known as the God of Eternity or the Raiden Shogun. She is the Almighty Shogun of the Inazuma Bakufu, the country’s ruler. She is seen with a sword in her hand. The Shogun is a tyrant who drove the souls of Inazuma into the woodlands.
Kujou Sara
Sara Kujou (Japanese: 九条裟羅) is a new character in Genshin Impact. She made an appearance on the version 2.0 Special Program. She is holding an Electro Vision and wields a bow in fighting.
Kokomi Sangonomiya
Sangonomiya Kokomi (Japanese: 珊さん瑚ご宮のみや心ここ海み ) is a future character in Genshin Impact. She made an appearance on the version 2.0 Special Program as the special leader of the resistance that goes against the God of Eternity. She will most likely be a Hydro catalyst user.
Aloy
She is an upcoming collaborative Cryo character. Aloy is the protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn, and she was created in partnership with Guerrilla Games. She will be available for a short time in PlayStation version 2.1 and all other devices in version 2.2.
Weapons
Genshin Intel, a trusted industry insider, recently leaked photographs providing information on the new range of weapons that will be included in Genshin Impact update 2.1. According to the leak, one of the new weapons will include Fumetsu Gekka, a 5-star Catalyst weapon, scales in HP percentage. The weapon also has a substantial Healing Bonus, According to speculations, the design suggests that it is Kokomi’s weapon in the lore.
The Luxurious Sea-Lord will also be added in the future patch. The weapon appears to be a 4-star Claymore with ATK scaling. According to reports, the weapon may summon a titanic tuna that produces ATK AoE DMG. Lastly, another weapon that players can obtain is rumored to be called The Catch. It is thought to be a 4-star Polearm which scales with Energy Recharge.
Others
Spiral Abyss
Spiral Abyss’s Phase 1 Blessing – All party members’ ATK will improve by 6.5 percent after utilizing an Elemental Burst. This effect lasts 15 seconds and can stack up to 7 times. When a character on-field hits an enemy with a standard attack after accumulating 7 stacks, a shockwave is released at the enemy’s location, delivering AoE DMG. Characters can release a shockwave every 2 seconds in this fashion.
Line ups for floors 9 and 10 would practically be the same as their 2.0 update counterparts. Only floors 11 and 12 will have a new lineup of enemies.
Chat
There is an additional 80 Chat Emojis that will be added to the chat function in the cooperative play of Genshin Impact.
Additionally, additional emotes will also come to the game in patch 2.1.
