Genshin Impact is a fairly complex game with its stats and complex mechanics that come with it. The Genshin Impact version 2.7 update is set to feature artifacts and skill recommendations based on the player base usage. Aside from the standard RPG stat distribution, there are somewhat hidden factors that affect a character’s damage output.
Take Elemental Mastery as an example. In the profile section, its effect is clearly denoted but it’s tough to estimate how much it actually affects that said character. From the perspective of a new player, it may seem quite daunting some may have also ignored the importance of it only to realize it much later in the game.
How does the Artifact Recommendation feature work
Just like the EM stat, Artifact Main stats are very important and are different from character to character depending on their roles and their unique kits. Hence it’s quite important to know which one a player should choose. In the upcoming version, 2.7 update miHoYo seems to have implemented a recommendation section based on the total player base’s choice of selection.
This section will show the top three common choices for artifact main stats by the total player base. Now for an end-game player, it’s really not helpful as they already can estimate what artifacts a character would need, but for a new player, it’s a really helpful feature.
Genshin Impact 2.7 update to feature a section for Talent level priority
Aside from the Artifacts recommendation, there seems to be another section for Talent level priority. Now, this does seem helpful but there is a catch. A lot of the characters can play different types of roles depending on the team composition.
Someone like Jean can be used as a Main DPS, Sub DPS, and a Full support character. Now for every role her Talent level priority would be very different so players will need to keep that in mind in situations like these when following these in-game recommendations. But for the most part, the priority order should be the most common build for a particular character.
miHoYo is going in the right direction by bringing these helpful features, as the game is getting more and more complex with each update. Another anticipated feature requested by players is a full team loadout system or an artifacts loadout for characters. These features will allow players to save their particular build and change them at a moment’s notice whenever needed. We will just have to see when these features arrive in the game.
