A Genshin Impact fan has recently shared a fan-based Fontaine map concept on Reddit regarding how the new playable area of the game, Fontaine will be going to look like, again, it is just a fan-based concept nothing official, but the fans of the game were quick to appreciate the concept with over 450 plus upvotes.
Fontaine will be the fifth playable major region in Genshin Impact
The game, Genshin Impact has a total of 7 playable regions each of which has its divine ideals and an Archon who serves as its main protector. As of now, there are only four of these regions are explorable: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru.
Quite recently the new region to be added to the game has been in quite some discussion, with fans from all over, having and making their own concept art and theories as to how the region will pan out to be and what new features will be added to the famous HoYoverse title.
Similarly, there have been multiple leaks that have revealed more information about Fontaine the new playable region to be added to the game. Reddit User, u/drawricks recently let his opinions out with his fan-based map for the region which got praise from the fans on social media.
The shared map art was so good that many fans stated that they got confused over its authenticity and thought it was an official leak. Some fans also claimed that the shape of the map is very similar to that of Illinois, every region in Genshin Impact is based on a real-life location and rumors claim that Fontaine is inclined towards the french culture.
The new region, Fontaine is however expected to have a large chunk of the map with water, in terms of waterfalls and other waterbodies, however in the fan-based map, there is hardly any water present, so there can be expected to be a little change in the way the map would be structured but overall it would be interesting as to how similar the actual map would be to the fan-based map.
