Genshin Impact’s version 2.7 update introduced players to two new characters, Yelan and Kuki Shinobu. Phase II of Genshin Impact version 2.7 brings back the amazing 5-star Geo leader of the Arataki gang, “Hanamizaka Heroics” Arataki Itto with a huge drop-rate boost. Accompanying Itto is the newly introduced 4-star electro character Kuki Shinobu. Additionally, Chongyun (Cryo) and Gorou (Geo) will also get a drop rate boost. Remember that after this banner ends, the 4-star character “Mender of Tribulations” Kuki Shinobu will be available in the standard wish “Wanderlust Invocation” in version 2.8.
Test Run trials will be open to test out the character you want to pull
The “Test Run” trial will be open during this event wish. Travelers can try out the new and returning characters in the fixed team compositions. This can be done by entering the specific domains to fight and getting acquainted with the powers and attributes of various characters. Completing them gives rewards such as Primogems, Hero’s Wits, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Stones among other rewards.
Players don’t necessarily need to invest primogems on the character banners
Itto is one of the best DPS characters in the game. His power is not limited by a player’s spending limitation meaning, that even f2p players can harness his potential. He has an easy playstyle but is less flexible in terms of the team compositions.
The banner also features Gorou who pairs well with Arataki Itto. Therefore, it is a good investment for players who are looking for the main DPS. Players who already have invested in the main DPS may be served better by saving their precious primogems for the banner in 2.8 which is touted to bring a rerun for Kazuha as per leaks.
Note: The decision of building characters lies solely in the hand of the players. Genshin Impact is a game, where players take try things at their own pace. It is important to have fun since a lot of content in the game is not hard. Therefore, players can feel free to build characters, as long as it fits their playstyle.
Weapon Banner for Genshin Impact Version 2.7 Phase II
As for the weapon banner, during the event wish, Itto’s signature 5-star weapon Redhorn Stonethresher (Claymore), and The Memory of the dust (Catalyst) will receive a huge drop-rate boost. The four-star weapons that are getting their drop rate boosted are Lion’s Roar (Sword), Lithic Blade (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), The Stringless (Bow), and Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst).
Players can use Epitomized Path during the event wish to chart a course toward one of the promotional 5-star weapons, Redhorn Stonethresher (Claymore) or The Memory of the dust (Catalyst).
