Genshin Impact has topped the Sensor Tower’s monthly list for the consecutive second month in running since the start of 2023. The game was ranked 1st in terms of revenue generated for the last month as well. These figures just go to show how the game has managed to stay relevant and famous among fans since 2020.
Genshin Impact beats the likes of Tower of Fantasy and Grand order in terms of revenue
It’s no surprise to see Genshin top the list, with the game having such a massive community with everyone sharing the same passion and love for the game. The game, Genshin Impact generated the most revenue from the in-app purchases and other endorsements last month in January as well, with this year even crossing the toll created in the previous month.
The report suggests that the game, Genshin Impact pipped out competition from other famous titles like Tower of Fantasy and Grand Order which also had a great month of February giving hope others on the list have performed. Reddit user u/Numberlockbs shared insights on the report, depicting another successful month for the title.
Genshin Impact in January made a monthly revenue of 62 million USD and made a total of 67 million in February. The figures reflect that the game is still going strong in 2023 and is gradually increasing in terms of revenue generated. Other games which were featured on the list also did decent with only a few managing to increase their revenue mark from the previous one.
There is no sense of doubt that the numbers that the game is putting forward are because of the lively community it has. The community has been actively engaged in creating additional content, doing social events and even actively participating in in-game events. All of this has created a very receptive market for the developers who get positive responses from the community wherever anything new is introduced to the game.
