Genshin Impact Version 4.3 Phase 2 banners will go live on the 9th of January, 2024 at 18:00 Server time and will last till the 30th of January, 2024 at 14:59 server time. Version 4.3 phase 2 banners will feature the reruns of two 5* characters and the debut of one new 4* character.
Genshin Impact version 4.3 Phase 2 First Character Banner: Reign of Serenity
This banner features the third rerun of “Plane of Euthymia” Raiden Shogun (electro/polearm) since her release in version 2.1. Raiden Shogun will be accompanied by the 4-star characters “Executor of Justice” Chevreuse (pyro/polearm), “Crowfeather Kaburaya” Kujou Sara (electro/bow), and “Trial by Fire” Bennett (pyro/sword), who will also receive a huge drop-rate boost.
Among these 4* characters, “Crowfeather Kaburaya” Kujou Sara (electro/bow), and “Trial by Fire” Bennett (pyro/sword) are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates. “Executor of Justice” Chevreuse (pyro/polearm) will be added to the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation from Version 4.4 onwards.

This banner features the reruns of two 5* weapons, Engulfing Lightning (polearm) and Thundering Pulse (bow). These are the signature weapons for Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya, respectively.
This banner also features the event-exclusive 4-star weapon Wavebreaker’s Fin (polearm) as well as the 4-star weapons Favonius Sword (sword), Rainslasher (claymore), Eye of Perception (catalyst), and Rust (bow). Among these 4* weapons, Favonius Sword (sword), Rainslasher (claymore), Eye of Perception (catalyst), and Rust (bow) are also permanently available in the Standard Wish – Wanderlust Invocation without any boosted drop rates.
Final thoughts
Between the Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya reruns, Raiden Shogun’s banner seems more enticing since Bennett and Kujou Sara are also featured. Both are core members of one of Raiden Shogun’s best teams. The choice between Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya is up to the player. Generally speaking, if you do not have either of them, go for Raiden Shogun.
If you intend to play her as an Electro main DPS, going for her C2 and C3 is very much worth it. If you intend to play her as a Hyperbloom trigger, then her constellations do not add any value. If you already have C3 Raiden Shogun, then there is no point in going for her constellations anymore since they do not add any value.
The weapon banner is great if you can pull any of the 5* weapons. Thundering Pulse is an amazing bow due to its high base ATK and CRIT DMG. Engulfing Lightning is good for not only Raiden Shogun, but also other characters whose Elemental Burst is their main source of DMG.
One such character is Xiangling. Among the featured 4* weapons on this banner, only Rust, Wavebreaker‘s Fin, and Favonius Sword are good picks. Wavebreaker’s Fin and Favonius Sword both specialize in solving ER needs whereas Rust is an amazing bow for characters who focus on normal attacks such as Tartaglia or Yoimiya.
